I've been following your previous videos on this topic. The evidence is quite compelling, especially the fact that there was no water source in Mecca at that time. What I'm most eager to find out is: do you have any alternative narrative to offer? I have to admit that David Wood has a point. No-one would invent a such a screwed-up character. Is is possible that he is a composite of oral traditions that gathered themselves into one person, like Robin Hood?

Your arguments, Jay, for it not taking place in Mecca and Medina in the Hijaz do make 100% sense, but it would be tough to say there wasn't some Joseph Smith/Charles Taze Russell kind of person around in the 7C (with features of the time on the warlord side). Chaotic times seem to be spread an insecurity into people, and thus chancers can gain credence, when in more peaceful times, the educated people would be able to head off their challenge. He may have come to a humiliating end, probably likely, but then the teachings got re-used for political ends, Abd El Malik in particular needing to challenge the Byzantines, and needing a replacement "truth". Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." (Matt 24:35). God protects His Word & Gospels and warns of antichrists. (1John2:22). Christ's Good News of Salvation, His Birth, Crucifixion and Resurrection hasn't changed for over 2000 years. The Gospels are evidenced by internal and external historical, archeological & literary facts. The Gospels are reliable and transparent with any variations transparently referenced in the footnotes. The Gospels have 1000 times more manuscripts than the most documented ancient literature, Greco-Roman historian Suetonius. The Bible is the most comprehensive and reliable source of 1st century Jerusalem history & used by archaeologists supporting research today. Hallelujah ! I nearly always use The Annals when mentioning the historic Jesus. Too bad Tacitus' dating of Moses in Histories is not correct... What I find somewhat annoying is that if someone merely states that the internal chronology of the Quran doesn't match the bible then this is an offense to Muslim, for example recently I've been looking into how Maryam the Mother of Isa is actually Miriam the sister of Moses and Aaron since her father is Imran meaning that the Isa from Islam must be Joshua, the son of Nun amalgamated with Jesus. I based this on verbatim quotations from the Quran taken in context of the surrounding narrative and cross referenced this with the bible, the similarity and proximity of a Mary to a Jesus in the Tanakh, the "book" of Jesus... Joshua right after the "Torah". Muslim readers told me that wasn't what they believed, but I don't understand how what they believe is relevant. They believe the Quran is the word of Allah so everything in it is correct. How then do you argue with me for quoting your book verbatim? What annoyed me the most was that the hadith which is supposed to explain this re-names Joachim as the father of Maryam, but who is YHWH in Islam? What is this?

Therefore, the instruction of Mohammad was limited to that time because He was capable of deciding the correct requirement for war for justice. Mohammad removed the concept of human incarnation because the effects of exploitation were severe in that time. Muslims should realize that human incarnation means that God enters the human body and not that God is modified into the human body. Mohammad objected only to a modification of God in to a human body. This is not condemning the concept of human incarnation. God only enters the human body and Mohammad himself was a human incarnation because God entered in to Mohammad and gave Quran. I am a nutral person and know the bible as well as anyone on your show. I was raised a Christain and my son converted to Muslim. What I do know is that neither set of books nor any outside source supports the existence of Mohamed as they claim, and the bible nor any outside source proves Jesus was the son of God. I actually don’t think Christ rising from the dead is that important as far as salvation is concerned. I guess it helps some people do good deeds but it is the cross alone that is perfect example of self sacrifice. It is his death alone and not his resurrection that proves to us the unconditional love of Christ. The proof of the suffering savior. Does resurrection change anything for the just?
