I bought mine Rob around 12 months ago, with the black dial, & yes it’s a beast! One of my absolute favourite watches I own. It actually had wrist time over the weekend! Seriously a great, rugged awesome piece. 👍🏼🇦🇺
I have this watch on the bracelet. Great feeling on the wrist. I work on a farm. Hot, cold, wet, dusty. Bracelet works better for me. I don't care for rubber straps in the summer. Sticky and hot. This watch does it all. Amazing tool watch that looks handsome to me. No ugly duckling! I love lume on watches. The full lume dial functions well. Not really better than a well lumed tradition dial. I do think the cream dial during the day is better looking than the black dial version. Over all a beast of a watch that wears smaller than it should. Highly recommend this one!
I have 3 100 HP water pumps at work. Taught my self to use my non watch hand to check and touch those motors. Just imagine how fast they could damage a watch. We have a man come by one a yr to do an efficiency test on our wells. He wears a cheap g shock.
Owned the black dial for a year now. These german brands man. They just get the tool-watch look down better than anyone else. They understand what people like me wants. Nothing flashy, but something that has a clear identity of what it is. Only downside is that it lacks magnetic protection which doesn't make it the ideal tool watch. I've magnetized it 3 times this year.
Is there a design name for having the crown and date at the 4' o clock position? Other watches that share this are the Seiko SPB317 and Citizen Promaster Dive BN015. I just really love that design choice.
As tough as this one might be, I lost one of them at a waterfall by accidentally knocking the watch against rock. It sank and was never found unfortunately.
I suggested this watch during one of the live streams. You guys looked at it and basically laughed at me for suggesting this watch, and unanimously disliked this watch. I forgive you.
I think its a cool watch but IMHO: 1. I typically never buy watches I can't fit a generic bracelet on. Moreover, its a concern about a given watch brand having in stock a replacement bracelet ten years out, or if the company stays in business. 2. For what you get, that watch is overpriced. Also, I am not a mountain climber and don't need a 4mm thick crystal. I would never spend $2400 on that watch for all the name brand watches available in that space. I do like the rugged aesthetic though.
Mühle is a name and it is not overpriced like i.e. Tag Heuer with the same movements and not even close to the stats of this watch. Inmature comment I would say.
