Multi-arm chandelier - Restoration 

Welcome to today's video, where you saw the renovation of a multi-arm chandelier.
A chandelier is a lighting fixture with multi-branched supports. For multiple lights used to illuminate the interior of living or social spaces. Chandeliers are often ornate and were originally designed to hold candles, but now bulbs and LEDs are commonly used.
If we go back a few thousand years, we find that the earliest primitive lamps were made of stone. A stone bowl filled with vegetable oil with a wick from burning wood dates back to the Bronze Age. In medieval Egypt and Rome oil bowls made of floats and closed flat cauldrons with wicks were used, which are discovered in dozens to hundreds of pieces during archaeological excavations. These kahans were often decorated with plastic decorations and were most often made of bronze. In wealthier households, small kanchans were assembled into sophisticated systems, where several of them were hung on stands or chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.
Another light source was a chandelier for wax candles, which had to have deep cups so that the wax did not drip onto the ground. These chandeliers were attached to a rope d by a pulley near the ceiling, which allowed it to be lowered to the ground and the candles easily lit.
Today, we already use electric chandeliers.
Also worth mentioning is the largest chandelier in the world, which can be seen on the island of Saipan in the Imperial Palace casino. Two glass dragons, each 32 m long and weighing 40 tons, are composed of 13,000 scales and 300,000 diode chips.
