Out looking for a bite and trying to stay out of the wind. Had a fantastic day catching a variety of fish and even caught a snook!

I can't give away the pinpoint location but it does feed into Choctawhatchee Bay. It's a great spot that has produced.

Dude, it's so cool to see we have snook in our area. Hopefully they'll multiply and get big like the south FL fish I see on YT. Were you fishing the north side of Choctaw Bay?

I'm considering buying a Hobie kayak, but I can't decide whether to go offshore with either of the 2 pro angler 12 or a 14, which one would you recommend?

That's a tough one. I say that because I have dragged PA 14s on the beach and it's a chore, especially after a long day of fishing. I will say that the 14 is great to have on the water. I have not seen the 12 in action but based on weight of the kayak I would go with the 12.

Are there any decent places in the Niceville area to fish off the bank or wading? Gonna be visiting Destin all next week.

A decent spot for fishing is White Point which is right next to the Maxwell Gunter Campground near MidBay Bridge. White Point is a part of Eglin and you do need a recreation pass which you can get online at eglin.isportsman.net . At white point you can fish from the bank or wade. An okay spot is Lincoln Park in Valparaiso which you can fish from the bank. The Valparaiso Pier is up the road from Lincoln Park. It's a small pier, but off to the right is an area and if the vegetation has been cut down can be fished from the bank.

Currently I'm out for work for a few months. I've had quite a few people try to link up and go fishing but it has been challenging trying to align schedules, type of fishing, and location to make it work. I can't make any promises, but maybe we can try and link up in a few months.
