After the 1st bluegill and 2nd fallfish those were green sunfish.Green & bluegill hybridise some times in the creek I fish, traits from both make a good fighter on light tackle= crickets, minnows, red worms, marabou jigs, poppers, streamers, sinking/floating spiders, ants etc.
Your the only guy besides ozny fishing Adventures and my self that shows people catching them big minnows, you know fall fish they are a lot of fun to catch. Just not good eating. Any way nice video .
Great video buddy! Can't wait to fish with you possibly Sunday!!! Should really get into them hopefully. Them wild brownies are super smart!🖒💯🎣🐟 tight lines!!!🐟🐟🐟🎣🎣🎣
I am new to your channel, but I love it. You’re down to earth and explain what you’re doing very well. I appreciate your love for the sport. Much thanks from Alabama.
Nice multi-species day, and awesome fallfish. Not sure why they're frowned upon. They're native to the streams, hit artificial lures, and fight like a trout. I'm always happy to tangle with a few when I'm out fishing.
Watched you over a couple of weeks and just subscribe to your channel! Started about a month with my 2 little boys fishing (7 & 5) and all your tips helped us! Going to some rivers and creeks in the nashville area this weekend! All tips are welcome! Keep up the good work!
I'm still amazed at the size of those fallfish. If you could quickly measure and weigh the ones you catch you feel might be your biggest I myself would be interested to know. That one looked like it was close to 2lbs!!
I love smallmouth fishing. Tubes are great! I need to try a tube with a split shot! I bet it works well. Probably falls very naturally and looks great in the water.
Been watching not for a terribly long time, 5 or 6 months maybe. Just curious, do you ever keep fish, or just catch and release? I'm about 50/50 myself.
Very rarely. The only fish I keep sometimes is stocked trout. My parents love eating trout. So I usually keep some for them to eat. Thanks for all the support!
I have fished my whole life, but I don't know if I've caught more than 10 fish. Since I got out of college I've went fishing from a canoe with my dad I think 5 times and I haven't caught anything yet! But I just enjoy getting outside. Maybe one of these days I'll catch something! I think I'll try and convince him to go to a river and try our luck.
I like the Piscifun reels, they seem to be alright for reasonable as they are! I also like the KastKing reels too, their similar in prices as Piscifun, probably about all equally built and performance wise too! Of course I got a brand new Piscifun Chaos 60 baitcaster that I have yet to use, but what I can tell of it seems pretty decent! Peace out ✌🏻
if i only knew how to fish. today i tried for first time fishing off a river n hook kept on gettin stuck on stuff, line broke three times. i was looking forward to trout catching.
Good video, I bought land near the cacapon River. That wouldn't happen to be it is it? It kind of looks like it but I guess a lot of rivers look like it haha.
Fish Hawk ,near slanesville it's about five miles from the bridge over cacapon, I think on route 29. I have a little creek called crooked run on the property.16 acres.
@@FishHawk I have one box dedicated to them . My lure of choice for smallies, but we catch everything on them in the streams. My local.river produced 10 to 20 inch smallies regularly.
