Thank you so much I'm very grateful. I bought this keyboard as an error hahahaha I'm a total beginner and when I understood that this is not the right one for learning I also bought a P125 and I now I'm stuck with both and I want to discover the sx900 badly hihi. Thanks a million.
Very helpful, thankyou. :-) I bought this keyboard a few months ago,but have,nt had time to read the Manual properly. I love this Keyboard,it has so many brilliant sounds, beats, features on it. Do you know how to change the depth of the pitch bend?,i want to play "Eyes without a face",from Billy Idol, there`s a short part in the song, where the pitch bend is used,
Hi Jennie, another question. Can you copy paste and instrument into the same track or another one. For ex: I played a beat with the percussion voice and I recorded it into track 1. How do I copy paste it into another track or the same one. I'm not talking about the looper, because the songs which I play has beat changes. After a lot of searching you are the only person I can ask for small details which are important. Thanks for your help in advance🙂
Thanks for the useful information, I also wanted to ask the name of the melody you played and where it comes from. Please write if you don't mind. Thanks in advance
Is there any overdub option available (like korg keyboards have)? Where you record over the same track again, without replacing the earlier recorded content.
Thanks Jedidiah for your lovely comments. I made this piece up and was probably reflected in what I was listening to close to when I recorded this video.
Wonderful video thank you. Can you save to USB stick and further mix/EQ the MIDI song file tracks in a Digital audio workstation (DAW) or give to a professional sound engineer to do a final mix?
Hey Jennie. Firstly, thanks for these quick tutorials, really useful. How do you set up tracks 5 through 16? I’ve used 1 through 4 for piano, guitar, base and guitar but, can’t make the other tracks work for the sounds I want. Thanks for any help.
Hi Paul. Exactly the same way. When you select your new track make sure you change the options to Right 1. Let me know if that doesn’t work and I will do a quick video.
Thanks Jennie, very helpful, I think I can do it now. However, could definitely do with a video tackling Quantising. I made a multi track song yesterday and then applied quantise, assuming the default settings would be sensible, they were not and I couldn’t work out how to adjust or undo what I’d done so, had to start over. :)
Hi, thanks for this! When I press Record under track 2, it's asking me on song ch2, right, left, right 2, right 3? I just want to overdub with strings.🤷♀️🤦♀️
Actually I have Yamaha clavinova CVP709 and I'm able to record instruments in multitracks in Midi , but vocal I won't be able to record vocal in multitracks because It's Analog input. Do you have any lesson to guide how to record Instruments and Vocal combine in multitrack of Yamaha CVP709 so I can create my own song,I'm willing to pay all the lessonfee to learn so !!!!
I assumed that this would have a 'layering' quality' to it & so when I was offered an option of Right 1, Right 2 etc, I kept on changing to a different one, thinking it was like the layering. Eventually, I tried leaving all the channels on Right 1, and, finally, it worked. Does this have any relation, to the layering of sounds at various positions on the keyboard? Could I, for instance, use my multi channel recording as 'Right one', whilst layering other areas as Left, Right 2 etc ?
Not sure if I understand your question correctly but if you wanted to simultaneously record Right 1 ,right 2 then you would select a channel for each. Eg select Track 1 and chooses Right 1 as the recording source, select track 2 and Left for the recording source etc. if I haven’t answered your question correctly let me know and we can start again.
Not really sure of your question. There is only one track recording audio for vocals, that is why recording on your instrumental as a midi before hand allows you to use vocals over an instrumental recording.
I probably need more information but you can try selecting an empty channel, start the recording with the metronome speed you would like and let it play through to the end. This will set the metronome speed consistently to the same tempo for the entire song. Yo8 don’t need to play anything during this step.
@@jennieburton9794 So basically i have recorded a song with metronome on the multi track feature. I have used most of the chanels and i saved it. Let's say i recorded the song in BPM 100 and saved it. But when the song plays the certain place where I have recorded a certain instrument, it changes the tempo and goes to 88 or 64 etc. So I tried fast forwarding the song and correcting the tempo where the change has come, but this doesn't seem to help. But i shall try your idea. Thankyou so much for replying 😊
@@devimenon4378 when you changed sounds, did you do that from a registration memory? If so it would have picked up the tempo setting on that memory button. The other way you can fix this is by going into song recording and removing the metronome changes in the step edit.
WysteriaGuitar yes you can as long as it is an audio recording. The other thing you can do is pre record the instrumental in the midi section then you can press play and record into the audio section and sing the vocal line along with the midi file. This will record midi and audio singing at the same time.
Hi, Thanks for the great videos! I was wondering if you could do a video on the Step Edit Chords recording? I have the psr sx900. Here's a link to a video on it using another psr yahama and also not in English, so I can't understand how to follow the instructions. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WSwolUalXfk.html What I have trouble is when I do fill in, it just doesn't fall into the right places that I want it to be. I'm not sure if I didn't select th right signature or if that feature is a defect and is not functioning correctly the way it should be. It would be a great help to me and many others. Thanks very much in advance.
