The long awaited multichrome comparisons between different indie brands is finally here! I compare similar color shifting families in different lighting as well as a labeled photo for your reference! I will be doing a separate video where I rank the brands, and talk much more in depth on the formulas, longevity, application etc..

Hey everyone! Hope you find this video helpful. I included camera videos as well as phone videos (studio light and indoor window lighting) so make sure you don’t miss those, as those show even more shifty magic! I also included labeled photos of each of the color section comparisons, so you can screenshot for further inspection 😁 One extra note: I didn’t include the Dawn Eyes multichromes as they are loose not pressed. But that eye swatch video will be coming in the future.

badtothebrow I’d love to know what those are like, do you like them? I only have Tammy Tanuka multichrome pigments. I’m thinking about getting some other ones, I’m especially curious about Notoriously Morbid, Alien Cosmetics (I think they’re sold out at the moment) and Fyrinnae. I have more iridescent pigments than regular multichromes. I have some Kaima pigments, but I’m not sure yet if they really qualify as multichromes. They do look pretty though, but I also can’t put those on my eyes yet until I’m infection free.

This is EXACTLY why I only purchase one "set" of duo/multichrome pigments. Because EVERY indie brand has the SAME shadow, and oddly enough, the "themes" and names are always even similar. I have some shadows from Shine By SD Cosmetics (very affordable) and they're AMAZING!

I love multichromes!! Can you do a video on all of your single shadows? And another video of all of your palettes? I’m patiently waiting for my clionadh order I bought back in February. I’m tempted to buy more but I hate how long the wait is now.

It definitely does! but swatch pigment doesn't always equal longevity on the lid which is what I will talk about in my next video!

Thank you for your work, I really enjoy your videos since I am still learning how to apply makeup to my hooded eyes. At some point I may try to invest in a better brush or something.

I have several duochrome eyeshadows from devinah Cosmetics and I absolutely LOVE them! Whatever formula they're using is AMAZING. They are pressed eyeshadows but apply so damn good you'd swear it was actually a liquid formula. And unlike other brands they are very reasonably priced $5-$10 for such excellent quality. Also shipping is fairly fast so it's a win all the way around!

I am in awe of your collection! I just put in an order with JD Glow after seeing this. Their international shipping costs are not that bad for an Indie brand.

Thank you so much for this, it's freaking awesome. I always use your guides whenever I'm considering which multichromes to try. Your thoroughness is so appreciated because these things just photograph weird as hell. I wish Looxi hadn't stopped making their line because I'm in love with Rebellion, but maybe Sandblast from Clionadh will work.

defectiveshark honestly Looxi’s formula is the worst, unless they reformulate or something I wouldn’t recommend those! Clionadh is much better, higher quality!

@@badtothebrow Thank you for the tip! Clionadh seems like the way to go, overall, I just wanted Rebellion because it has more of an orange/burgundy shift as opposed to an orange/fuchsia shift. The equivalent Clionadh shades (Kiln, Sandblast, etc) are gorgeous, but I just don't wear pinks or fuchsias much.

Thank you for your good hard work:) now I'm happy I chose Weld&Sand blast from Clionadh over the Forge and Kilm as they are more like subtle shades which I'm preferred, however it seems that Oculos & Annel are kind of similar too, don't they ?

badtothebrow I think I’m missing four. I like the lighter ones more than the darker, but I still love them so much. I like the pink ones the most. I’m glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t care about having a complete collection, I was afraid people would think I’m crazy by owning most of their shades and then not buying them all, but I don’t want to order shades I’m not going to use.

I actually ordered their multichromes and I do not recommend them purely for the value, my pans are not even full, and that's why I decided not feature them.

( yea I bought one pan from tog it’s beautiful but want ones that are the best for the price as their so expensive I probably should have just saved and got stained glass ones there just 💥 and that’s what I want.) love your videos

@@badtothebrow I certainly don't have the amount of multichromes that you have- your collection is IMPRESSIVE 😍 Lol..but I have the JDGlow ones, some from Dawn Eyes, I ordered some from KLC but have no clue when they're coming in, some from Tammy Tanuka coming in and the Clionadh ones I ordered that should be here this month per their shipping update-I stress spend, so my makeup collection has grown way more than I'd like to admit over the past couple of months 🤦‍♀️

So I had just started shopping around for multi chromes with a view seeing what I like. Amy loves makeup , Annette's makeup corner and Lauren May Beauty are the only ones I watch that use them. I'm brand new to your channel. You actually swatched so many I had written down as ones I liked. I didn't realize that a few were dupes. They look different online. I'm saving Clionadh for lastt, bc I fully expect to not want anything else if I go there first.

badtothebrow I’ll get back to you about them as soon as I can put them on. I bought all of the pastels, as those are my favorites, and the palette I got is something that is so stunning that I want to live in it. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. I’ve been told that the quality is similar to Clionadh, but I can’t try them out yet as I still have an eye infection. I also picked up some Touch of Glam, Ve cosmetics and Pastel Roses ones. They just have a few, but I’m curious to see what they’re like.

I definitely liked the way you swatched these. It was easy to fast forward to the next set of colors if I know certain ones I wouldn't be interested in so no need to view them. I am not into any pinks, red or orange eyeshadows unless I was going to use them as eyeliner.

Can you please do a video on how to use these for maximum impact? What kind of bases are best to use? Brushes/applicator/ and then any topper or setting products. Basically how to maximize the sparkle and prolong their wear on the eyes. Thanks

I wish Looxi still sold these shadows! I have the Devinah ones and only a couple from terra moons. But ive definitely been dying to get green, to yellow, to pink shades. Maybe ill save up 400$ for everything i want from Clionadh 🤣😅🙈❤❤❤

I cannot decide between JDGlow and Terra Moon. What do you think? The terra moon pans are tiny...which would you pick? Clionadh is not really in my price range. I may get one really unique and pretty one and get the ones that are similar from one of the other brands.

They are the same pan size, 26mm. You could buy either, you can’t go wrong! I think Terra Moons has a couple more shades than JD Glow

I like Terra-moon, they are really easy to use. Well, actually, cliodhna and terra-moon have similar price, it's just clionadh price shows in Canadian dollars
