ANYCUBIC I recently bought two of your Kobra 3 combo printers and I have to admit that at first they made a good impression on me. They look well-made, quite solid constructions. I made a few small prints with a color change in the middle of the table and they came out nicely. I decided to print something bigger but first I started by printing one layer of 200x200mm and this is where the problems started. The printers (both) are not able to make the first layer correctly, after printing it is visible as if the table was crooked - and after all the printer has a table auto-leveling system. After a deeper analysis, the first problem turned out to be a crooked table support, so in order to correct its curvature I replaced the steel table sleeves in one of the printers with silicone ones and thanks to this I also gained the ability to manually calibrate the table leveling. I set the printer to a feeler gauge and made the same above print 200x200x0.2mm again - another failure 😞. Another analysis revealed a problem which is the linear system of the table axis which is not precise - the table roller bearings have play on the sides and during printing, the deviations of the extruder nozzle height from the table are constantly changing, which is why the calibration map does not work. Bearing play is not related to regulation. The same linear system is used for the extruder and I am also afraid that it may have such problems. I AM WAITING FOR A SOLUTION - ANYCUBIC.
"soooo smooth" 😂 Steady in every step Yeah, I'd expect that from every printer made in 2024 haha But it looks great, if it circumvents the need for a purge block or minimizes fillament waste for the color change and time waste, it would be great
Will I have to make upgrades and modifications, replace the mainboard and take over 8 months to finally get it dialed in like with my kobra 2? If not that'd be sweet.
After receiving the order, B2B robot army has set off, prusa has been destroyed, creality, anycubic, elegoo, flsun, flashforge, are being destroyed. Traces of the B2B bot army have been discovered .
Will it be the same as my kobra max? That I was fighting with the warranty and even though I was never able to use the machine, they didn't give me any more support claiming that the warranty had expired? So you were requesting assistance? Anycubic never again.
Produces to much waste of valuable filaments while printing in color. I want to invest in a top printer but not in waste produced during flashing the hotend each time color changes.
Hi, thank you for the video. I am thinking of buying this printer as I want to make multi-coloured TPU prints. I am looking to print with the really soft Recreus 82A TPU filament. Do you know if that would work with the ACE-system of this printer? Asking because it seems that the Bambu Lab printer's AMS cannot handle soft TPU filaments.
@technix_am yeah, but at this point, unless there is a significant difference in price, I would probably just get an a1 since that is the machine all these companies are trying to replicate. And bambu lab has very reliable machines. I own an anycubic vyper, and although the print quality is good, I've probably spent more time doing repairs than actually printing. I've owned my X1C a couple months now, and it's been printing pretty much 24/7 and haven't had a single issue other than the filament sometimes getting jammed in the ams unit. The jams have only been with generic filament brands though and not the official rolls.
Anycubic, please explain how this differs from the Bambu Lab A1 with AMS lite. Suggestion: delete the music, extend the video, and elucidate how this overcomes some of the A1 flaws. Mine is printing A-OK now, but I endured weeks of goofy error messages (e.g., falsely reporting the printing plate was ajar) that repeatedly blocked prints from completing.
Anycubic just releases a new printer and completely forgets about the previous gen not getting updates or even replacement parts and locked klipper. This new printer will be obsolete in 6 months and resale price will be a low ball. Disposable printers by Anycubic.
