It’s really nice that they delivered. Thanks for the fast coverage here with the video. The Momentum TW 3 are a fantastic and nearly complete package now. The cherry on the cake would be to have a better EQ with more than 3 bands.
Since three months i asked sennheiser: fix the right earcup issue with the momemtum 4, fix bluetooth issues connectivity and please add power (more high volume). With the sennheiser momemtum 3 tws i asked: fix bluetooth issues connectivity, add multipoint connection, fix major problem with bass boost and add little bit of power (maybe one or two notch). THEY ALL fixed the issues instead the power. Honestly Sennheiser, good job !!
@Jogeem It could be. I recently moved back to Australia after living in the U.S for 20 years & I only got the update notification about 10 minutes ago.
It seems that Sennheiser is deploying a new firmware version for the momentum TW3. Yesterday I received version 2.10.19 and all promised features are working well on my side 🙂 (only Smart Control 4.1.5 is not available till now) It has the following changelog: -Bluetooth multipoint connectivity -High resolution audio mode enable/disable switch (requires Smart Control 4.1.5 or later) -Transparency mode can be activated manually when single earbud is in use -ANC stability improvements -Touch control blocked when earbud is outside of the ear -Bluetooth performance optimizations -Further performance and stability improvements
@@CEONTHEMAKING No problem :) The problem is... The firmware update disappeared from my app before I even came to the point of updating. Weird. Edit: I reset the headphones, my Bluetooth and deleted the app.. the update showed up for 1 millisecond but disappears immediately. Might be some app issue?
@@CEONTHEMAKING Yo Ceon... according to many the new update brought some problems.. maybe that explains why I can't find the update option anymore? They removed it because of the problems? It's interesting.. maybe the firmware isn't fully complete yet and got released a bit early(accidentally) or it didn't work as smooth as expected. Maybe Sennheiser will give some information about what happened there.
Sweet. Thanks for the vid, I was waiting to update until I found out how well it worked, sick of having to switch between my iPhone & laptop. I just can't believe it took 2 weeks for the app to finally notify me that there was finally an update.

@@Hagonish .... The point is the update got removed from Sennheiser in the app. The firmware update isn't finished or has errors and you loaded it on your headphones... Need to wait wait and see for updates from sennheisrr
A new firmware was rolled out today. Version 2.10.19 I got the multipoint update before but again I got a new update today. Changelog is the same as before with a additional note that the high resolution audio switch is available with the smart companion app version 4.1.5 or higher (current app version is 4.1.4) - so a new update might come here as well very soon. Hope everybody got the update now and can enjoy multipoint without flaws.

Actually this and fw 2.10.19 sound is improving every time. Addition of Hi-Res Audio is great. The only point worth a mention is these earbuds will be somewhat limited if the device you're connecting them to does not support aptX (in particular aptX Adaptive) - I think Hi-Res Audio is one of these features.

I'm waiting for one of these guys to bring out a USB C adapter. Imagine being able to connect to laptop, PC, Switch or PS5 while also being connected to your phone. Nuratrue Pros are doing something similar.
Right on time to compete with AirPods Pro 2. Because I was thinking about it!!! 😰 But now I can go from watching my iPad to making a call on my iPhone and go right back to my iPad seamlessly (tested it) and keep the MTW3 sound quality?!?! My wallet can rest easy now 🙏🏾😅👍🏾
Sounds great, but how can I search for the update? If I go in the app to settings I can open the firmware setting but it shows just that I use the latest firmware.
Yes, I think they removed it due to errors people.. That explains why other comments here complain about audio, connection and call problems after the new update.. maybe Sennheiser removed it temporarily to fix it? Maybe it was a accident release too ? Or it didn't turn out as expected?
Please let us know about the laptop + phone. Just got the Galaxy Buds Pro2 but annoyingly can't use both! Want connection to the laptop, and automatically be able to take calls. How annoying!
I bought them yesterday in Germany and immediately got a firmware update, but only to 2.6.8. Do you guys know if it was only released in specific countries for now?
@@RicherTechReviews i have. Sony xperia 1 II, not all devices support Aptx Adaptive.. for me it works (android is mandatory) but what phone do you use?

My left earbud has completely stopped working after this updated firmware. I can't even pair my buds to any devices. I'll have to replace them for a new pair.
Hi, is that possible to update firmware by only 1 side earpiece connected? Because i found that mine left earbud version too low i think is 2.2 something.
@@justaemptymall Oh! Thank you so much. I thought my buds were broken and initiated replacement since they are in the return period. It seems sannheiser dropped their update bit early before beta testing. Been there done that since momentum 1. I have all three and every time I upgrade, they manage to take the excitement away with their untested firmware release. But, I still bounce back for music because nothing sounds better like these although I use Sony Wf-1000xm4 for commuting and calls.
$250 + tax man not happening lol Any latency, lag or dropped connections? I returned my L3P due to those issues and they were very uncomfortable plus the poorly designed case was a joke.
The Sennheiser MTW 3 are the best sounding earbuds you can find rn tho for that price range. Also Multipoint and some of the best call quality you can find atm.
After my update one earbud plays louder then the other and in Anc mode I get a buzzing noise. I don't recommend these for long term. Even my other Sennheiser earbuds had issues 1 year in of use.
The update was trash. After I made the update my left ear bud started making crackling noise after turning on ANC. please help me if anyone face the same issue. Also let me know how to contact technical support please. Thanks in advance

I'm on my 5th pair of this earbus because of a beeping sound using a note 10 plus. Looks like no one is is having this problem i cannot find any video on YT about this problem. Just receive a new pair and it start with that beeping sound again. Do know what to do at this point
Their software sucks. I have been prompted to install new firmware in the app, but after I clicked it, it says I have newest version of the firmware (previous one). Yikes.
No it isn't sofware issues. They removed the firmware update due to errors according to many users(who had problems after updating) also in the comment section here Be happy you didn't update yet like me.. I waited for the next morning and the update option disappeared...

The call quality on this new firmware update is trash. It sounds like the person on the other end of the call is in an empty room with a slight feedback/echo. The previous firmware had zero issues. Is there a way to revert to the previous firmware?

I honestly updated immediately because I was excited for the addition of the multipoint feature and I have notification enabled for @CEONTHEMAKING channel. That I regret at this point. I use my MTW3 90% of the time for phone calls so this really is a bummer.
@@justaemptymall I already checked their website. There is nothing there. I was hoping that someone here would be able to add insight on this. The issue is so bad that I have to be using my Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 despite preferring the MTW3.

Hi, I bought the buds thinking that I will be able to get this feature via firmware update. But they have not rolled this out widely yet. I could update it to 2.6..... So my question to you @ceointhemaking, is how the hell did you get access to 2.9 update? Can you let me know please.
