PFG just nailed it with the screams for Tom and Jerry, just like in their old cartoons. The Nostalgia is real!

The fact that they were able to acquire Tom's iconic screams from the cartoons truly shows that they are legit fans of the characters as well as the cartoons. Ahhh....the nostalgia feels at 0:19,0:25 mark.

This game is what Nickelodeon All stars shouldve been. The fact that they went to get these original sounds is awesome fanservice. The nostalgia 😭 I gotta try this just for Tom and Jerry alone.

I just love the fact that the developers didn’t make Tom and Jerry all buddy-buddy with each other and turning them into frienemies, which is shown on multiple occasions like: -When selecting them, Tom and Jerry are shown doing a pinky promise to not fight each other, also showing that both are hiding weapons behind their backs. -Most, if not all, of Tom and Jerry’s moves portray Tom clearly attempting to hurt and abuse Jerry, only to miss every time and somehow hit their foes. - In their taunt, Jerry just casually pulls a mallet from the hammer space and hits Tom’s foot with it, causing him to yelp in pain while holding his foot. -Their standing animation shows Tom and Jerry looking at each other with Tom in a battle-ready stance and Jerry in a “put them up” pose. -Their idle animation shows Tom grabbing Jerry while smirking evilly. -The only time they do seem to get along and actually show some teamwork are their neutral and down specials. Also the winning animation shows Tom drinking a glass of milk while Jerry is sitting on a big piece of cheese, eating crumbs of it.

I don't know if William Hanna knew back when he recorded these screams that they would live on to become as iconic in pop culture as they are 82 years later. Dude's a legend.

Tom is always getting the short end of the stick. It's almost incredible that he would be able to beat anyone in MultiVersus. But to give him a moral win, I would have him continuously beat up Superman and Shaggy. Arguably the two most powerful characters in the game canonically.

Really goes to show how iconic Tom's screams are. So many people here (me included) are so happy they reused the old William Hanna screams instead of going to the trouble and expense of recording new ones.

They all are hilarious but 0:24 is just a different breed😂😂😂

I Guarantee you they pulled these from the ol sound vault that Warner bros has since they were the ones who bought Hannah Barbera They would’ve gotten all the unedited back up sounds from all those years ago and I LOVE that they are being put to good use for the classic fans out there
