Many key moves missing .Here's some -tom can hit tennis ball with his racquet -jerry's cork can be hit with racquet as well -you can pick up jerry using the fishing rod -jerry can be killed by enemy -tom can reflect another player's projectile -if you almost fall, hitting enemy with fishing rod can give you more airtime -your team can pick up jerry and his cork attack will be launched from your team -fishing rod is one of their best move for edge guarding -enemy can destroy the mousetrap

A teammate also picking up your mouse trap gives momentarily extra strength, speed and damage dealt to the teammate that picked it up.

Honestly its a pretty tough setup when my opponent in 1v1 are constantly spazzing out but definitely in 2v2 its been good

Tom and Jerry are monsters in 2v2. The grounded Up+Special when you have Jerry does so much damage and is easily spammable and landable at close range. If you miss you can control it so he'll land right next to you to grab him up and keep spamming

I play a “brawler” style zoner in 1v1, which is kinda weird, but it always catches people off guard. One of your strongest air moves is down air. Lab out reading jumps and how to land his down air and you can get confirms at early as 50 if you knock them off stage.

you can also re-obtain jerry through attacks like the fishing rod, d-light and s-light, which is way more effective in battle than just walking to him.

I used to play A LOT of Olimar in Smash (big surprise) so I instantly gravitated towards tom and jerry. Been loving them so far. My other main is Taz for when i just want to turn my brain off and go ham. Loving this game so far!!

@@onestep also ive found that Toms up charge (the paddle ball) is one of if not THE best juggling tool in the game. Makes air juggles so easy and you can cancel it into his up or down air to confirm at high percentage

Ya it feels as though there's just supposed to be a lot of pressure from them. Not alot of combos and/kill potential. So I totally understand

Quick tip for teams, if your teammate picks up Jerry he still acts as though you’ve thrown him. This means all your rockets and tennis balls will be sent to him just as an attachment of your teammate. The only thing is that the cork move is disabled during this.

Big tip for Tom and jerry is to never unbind the neutral moves on LB and RB on controller. This is a much easier way to hit your jerry shots and also throw and hit corks and tennis balls

they all play pretty different, im a batman main so i love his "in your face" play style, tom and jerry rely on their projectiles and down air attack. they can be really annoying at keeping you away. its all who you want to play, Batman and bugs are easier to learn in my opinion, but i know if you put in the effort for tom and jerry itll be worth it!

i appreciate the feedback, but keep in mind this is a beginners guide and though it may have been obvious to some, what the moves are doing and how to use them, it might have been not so clear to others. i want to do a more advanced tutorials on these characters and plan to do them in the future. Funny as tho, whenever I see an iron giant i just start juggling them with it and it keeps them stationary for half the game while my team-mate attacks the other enemy

The game for me is terrible.classic fighting thst that everyone can hop on and spam moves.Bu i have to say tom and jerry is a very well made and interesting fighter to say the least
