The Multnomah Falls - Wahkeena Falls Trail is a 6-mile loop hike that begins at Multnomah Falls and passes by several other spectacular waterfalls, including Weisendanger Falls, Ecola Falls, Fairy Falls, and Wahkeena Falls. We hiked the trail just before Thanksgiving in November, and we were excited to see salmon spawning in the stream near the entrance. The hike also provides beautiful views of the Columbia River Gorge.
We did this hike in November 2021, four years after the Eagle Creek Fire. There is fire damage on the trail, but the lush, mossy environment has made the recovery fast. I would highly recommend this hike.

Excellent look at that loop, post fire damage. I used to always park at Wahkeena and do that hike in reverse. The falls leading up to Multnomah are lovely, and coming down the switchbacks was easier than going up them... plus the view of Multnomah from below is more spectacular than watching it go over the top! The water was really full the day you were there, due to the season, so it must've been even better in person! Nice to see your shots of Fairy Falls.... up from there, when you hit the ridge trail, going to the right takes you by Wahkeena Spring, and on to Angel's Rest, if you want to go that far. (vs to the left and looping back to Multnomah). You are doing such a great job of covering these waterfall hikes, thanks again!

Thanks so much! Great idea to combine it with the hike to Angel’s Rest. We will have to do the full loop sometime 😀. It’s amazing how many waterfalls are packed into a small area.
