Your tiny mum walking alongside tall Davey at the flower show - I can't wait to see that! She's so busy while he's so mellow, it's going to be great fun I am certain!!! 😊❤
Yummmm. My son came over for visit to cheer me up ( i had to put my ill dog to sleep two days ago ) and he bought fish & chips with him and some white wine but we ate ours out of the paper they were served in. I would have put them on nice plates too but my son said it will save me having to wash up after. 🤣
I don't like the blue spotted fabric for the lamp shade. It may be in the same color scheme, but the pattern is just too much going on for the eye. I think the yellow looked really nice with your wallpaper 😄
I know you don't need me to say, but OMG how the garden has come along from when Dan first started, just absolutely beautiful, and yes those roses are spectacular, I love all flowers, I'd love a garden. Thank God for mobile phones hey. Sebastian is a beautiful looking man. Hey Steph, try eating fish and chips with burger pickles.
It's fantastic what RU-vid has been able to pay for. Just imagine if Covid and Lockdown had never happened, all of these chateau channels flourished on the back of Chateau DIY! It was most definitely a good thing for these.
she usually films enough footage to be a few days ahead of herself, so this could have been filmed a few days ago. sometimes she has to show something that happened that day. Hampton Court Flower Show is on 2-7th July
Well, if you put out all your assets to impress a female to mate, you wouldn’t want your landlady to watch you, right? (Thor) 😂 Thank you so much for all the joy! 🫶💞🫶
I think it’s so nice that you guys can spend time alone. Philip is very good about sharing Stephanie with everybody. It must be challenging sometimes to share the house with so many people. It’s a good thing they have somewhere to go spend time together alone.
Notice the spicy glint in Phillips's eyes at the end when Steph was talking about a night in there in the London flat, with fish and chips and Netflix. I love to see such passion in a man's eyes....
What a wonderful family, your Aunt and Uncle standing in for Natty while she is away, while you know how busy they must be with their new home. Who could ask for anything more?
The chapel restorers really crack on- especially as it such exacting work. What a blessing that they came to be the crew to work on the chapel!! So very happy to see dear Percy’s dazzling smile and looking so well 🥰 Till next time 🕊💕
Enjoy the flower show Isabelle, I am envious. I shall look forward to Thursday’s episode. A cozy night in with fish and chips sounds delightful, enjoy! 🇨🇦🙏❤️
Oh Stephanie. I love roses. I've got David Austin roses which bloom year on year! They make me so happy! Have a great visit to Hampton Court Flower show...I can't wait to see it!!!
Yellow on the lampshade. The patterned blues are too much with the wallpaper. Love seeing your mom & Percy. They look healthy! Your garden looks amazing!!
Mummy weeds the flower beds like my mother, i.e., pulls the weeds and drops them near the beds. Never got her to carry a bucket and trowel and dispose of them property. Brings back memories.
I don’t know, I think relaxing in your flat in London while eating fish and chips with mushy peas while watching Netflix is DEFINITELY a thing of beauty but also VERY British! Have an amazing time at South Hampton Palace and its flower show! I love their maze and well the Palace is pretty outstanding and so much incredible history and the historic people that lived there! Sending lots of love and positive vibes from across the globe in the US state of Montana! ✨💖✨
I love your Mummy's smile when thinking of the flower show. She was glowing!! Every episode is so beautiful. I loved the clematis vines, I think it was.
Not sure if anyone else feels this way, but the leaves on the wallpaper look like Marijuana leaves to me...and no I don't smoke. Lol But that's what they look like when I first saw the wallpaper. 😄
😢 Regarding the lamp shades, have you tried reading by the light of lampshades which throw shades of green or blue? Think. Of your guests. Too much pattern is just over the top.
It's so good to see the evolution of Davy's garden plans over the years. It's all so beautiful. I would love to hear how the chapel restorers feel about working on your jewel box of a chapel after working on Notre Dame.
I love being part of la lande adventures. The chapel is a gift . Your garden is really taking shape and growing beautifully. 😊what fun flowers and castles.
You know Stephanie when we get older, those napkins come in handy keeping clothes clean. Love the way everyone is together, have a lovely rest of the week.
I would love to see some pineapple lilies and some catnip in your garden somewhere. I agree the lamps should be plain and give good light for readers and journal entry writers.
Hi all. I use to have peacocks and the males would turn away too. I believe it’s because they only display to the females or when they’re feeding particularly proud of themselves. Unfortunately we humans aren’t good enough for them 😮. Thanks for sharing your daily vlogs, you do such a great job. Your commitment to the Chateau and your YT community is second to none. Philip and your mum are such beautiful people, actually everyone there is very special and unique. I hope you have a lovely day. ❤Zeljka
@@SebastienChateau-fo4fb Ha ha! C’est très sympa de vous savoir sur RU-vid aussi. Vous êtes très populaire! Bravo pour votre travail, nous sommes tous en admiration.
I’d love to hear stories of your mom growing up. I think you had touched on it in a past video. I could listen to her voice all day. I also liked the pale blue lamps with the off white lamp shades. It was a calm in the otherwise color storm.
I love fish and chips. I live in Charleston - home of the best shrimp and grits you ever ate and there’s a righteous chippy out here…. They also have other tasty treats- sausage roll, mushy and all. Unbelievable! Oh and it’s called (this for you Phillip) Codfathers!!!!🐟🐟🐟
Seeing tonton Stephen with the toga-napkin reminded me that I saw your metal clip 'napkin holder' in a film. Turns out it's not for napkins at all but for clipping a cover around the neck of the patient at the dentist's 😂😂😂😂 The garden looks glorious 😍😍😍
Please don't stay in the blues with the lampshades. It wouldn't make the room look very curated or lively. I would go into the yellows (mustard, gold, cognac etc.). And a pop of red somewhere also wouldn'd hurt.
Thanks for another interesting vlog about the chapel (so wonderful to hear the French with translation). I only recently learned about 'mushy peas' which are not at all available with fish and chips in the US.
The windows at the back of the workyard wing need to be enlarged, then the apartments there can be finished. Stephanie says the schedule is Heating system finished, Grand Salon starts in November, the terrace after Grand Salon is finished, and the lake.❤
Stephany would you consider renting out your apartment to three old ladies next spring? We are going to London then heading to the Cotswold for a seven day hike then back to London before we head back to Canada. Just a thought. It would be great if you would. We are really responsible and trustworthy.
I am afraid the flat needs necessary maintenance and she cannot be sure of it being completed by then, but thank you for thinking of her. Have a wonderful trip!
Ah! That wallpaper! I believe that your lampshades need to be the same colour as the leaves, plain and silk. In fact, I would remove the bulk of the pattern in the room as it is not possible to compete with the walls. Similarly, I would only use artwork with broad, plain mounts between the frame and art to create an island for the picture. Otherwise, you could pile on the clash colours and pattern to get things so jarring that it works. The elephant in the room is the wallpaper. Best wishes, Stephen.
