When I was 13 I visited the Tower of London with my parents and first learned about Lady Jane Grey. I became obsessed with learning absolutely everything about her, and honestly I still am 35+ years later. I have a print of that same painting you had in your planner of her execution. I just find her to be such a fascinating character. As always, terrific video. And as others have said, your nails are just gorgeous.

@@shawntateyama8244 thanks :-) the nails were a birthday treat. I've e never visited the Tower but I think I'd get a lot of it in a similar way to you. All the tumult of the Tudor era is so interesting and Jane's story feels like a classic tragedy. I find the historical context of the painting itself v interesting too.

I love your nails! Gods I'm ready for autumn for sure! I feel you on colors. As nice as some color changes can seem, I always default back to black. It just feels more... right. To be fair, I do feel it's easier to modify and decorate so that's probably a big part of why 😅

thank you. i had them done for a birthday treat :-) yeah now i know a sprinkle of colour, like in my bookmarks or the zebra pens is enough for me. it's one of the good things with filofax though, it was easy enough to sell on again so no harm done. black and other neutrals are definitely more versatile

do you recommend the 'have a nice day' cover? im trying to decide if its worth $50... also great video

@@emmamccann902 thanks Emma :-) yeah I've really liked it this year. I also have the basic navy cover from hobonichi that I tend to use if staying somewhere overnight as that has the business card slots for keeping stickers etc in. If you want plenty of storage in a cover then the Have A Nice Day cover doesn't deliver there. However I've found it to be robust, nice to look at and it hasn't got grubby even though it's this pale blue colour

Your videos are always so calming. I also got the Sarasa Nano vintage set and I think my favourite colour is the dark sepia color, but the whole pack is lovely
