Lydia, been a while since I painted there but you remind me, I need to get back. Good one! Been doing many small 6x8's, 8x10's, in studio from my Sedona photos, this hot summer; but want to get some more plein airs done there too, again. I'm in Oro Valley, not that far away! And I don't do enough sky paintings, except when I was in Hawaii, LOL. Cuz you simply Must do them there, ...of course. :D BTW, just wondering, are you in a gallery there? I was shocked last time I was there that not that many local galleries feature the beautiful realistic landscapes of the area, like you paint; but rather a lot of weird, "spiritual stuff" paintings and sculptures, and of course tons of jewelry, instead. Have you noticed that too? Cheers!! : )
I did enjoy the instruction. Just a question though, when you were in instructional classes did the teacher/prof play music at about the same volume while she was instructing? I don't ever remember that happening in a formal class. Distracting for me, but probably just me. Cheers!
@@jimjr4432 you know that’s a really point! I could see how that would be distracting…I’ll definitely consider no music or editing the sound better in my future videos! Thanks so much for your feedback!!
@@lydiagatzowart Yup, you are not alone, many art vids feature too much "music"; and since it is a "vastly personal choice", between rap (lol, I always say that they forget the "C") and Beethoven, not everyone will like it. So, that's why I often mute the volume if there is music and not too much "voice over" on the artist's process and other helpful comments related to the painting they are doing. Cheers!
