I accidentally changed the ppsspp opengl setting to vulkan...and it immediately closed itself . Can't open it anymore. There is a solution to reset ppsspp settings on MUos. thanks
I have Celeste on steam. Not too interested to buy on itch either. May pick up Stardew on a sale though. I do own Undertale on steam but i never really understood the game lol
You’re on fire! Another awesome video. Off subject slightly, I’m struggling to get the original Sonic to run smoothly - most noticeable on green hill. As soon as I’m up to speed and jumping there looks to be a drop in frame rate. Surely this shouldn’t be struggling with Sonic in the MD. Tbh I don’t remember noticing it before and I’ve rest retroarch settings in muOS but it hasn’t improved it. How’s yours?
Hmm, I just tested Sonic 1 for a bit using the Picodrive core with no issues that I noticed. which core are you using? There is always going to be some slowdowns with these games when you have tons of objects on the screen, like when you lose a bunch of rings, but those type of performance issues are kinda baked into the game itself. They are symptoms of original hardware limitations or coding issues they ran into when developing the game. Not sure if this is what you are experiencing or not. They got better at working with the hardware further in the series so you could try sonic 2 or 3 to see if you are still getting those slowdowns.
@@PhyrexTechs hey, thanks for taking the time to check your build for me. It’s not the slow down that you mention, I am very familiar with that. It’s more of a scrolling issue in the background, the water and trees judder when spinning through the air or running at a fast rate. I’m currently installing a fresh install of muOS onto a sandisk so I’m hoping this fresh install will fix the problem.
@@PhyrexTechs fixed it! The fresh install fixed the problem. The only thing I can put it down to was when I tried to test “run preemptive frames” even after turning that off it didn’t fix the problem. That’s the only thing I can put it down to, feel free to see if you can replicate it. I tried preemptive frame by 1 frame. Save and quit, run sonic and it was a mess, went back to preemptive frame and turned it off. Unfortunately it was like it had PTSD from when I tried to run it 😅
I am having trouble getting Undertale to work. I moved the assets folder from the depot folder into my Undertale ports folder on my sd card, but when I try to open Undertale on my device I get a weird blue screen and then it crashes. Any advice? I followed the video exactly so not sure what's going on. I didnt't have this problem for Balatro, only Undertale. Thanks Edit: I figured it out. I had to take all of the files in the Assets folder and move them into the gamedata folder within the Undertale ports folder on the sd card. Maybe this will help someone in the future.
Hello! May I ask if you can play games there such as Genshin Impact, Mobile Legends or Resident Evil 4? I was wondering so I could further think about buying the RG35XXH since I want to feel more alive when playing games unlike my old phone.
You won't be able to play those on these Linux devices. There are some android ones that you would be able to do that on like RG556, RG405, Retroid Pocket 4.
So for any app style games will need an Andriod device like the ones I posted. A lot of the cheaper Anbernic devices are Linux devices and will be limited to Retro emulated games and a few ports that people have found ways to get on the devices.

i had my OS flashed 2 times because of portmaster failing to launch in config after reboot..it happened again today but i can still play the games directly from explore tab..how do i fix the portmaster issue for this?i did make a fresh backup for portmaster,but im afraid if i replace the files i wouldnt be able to play or access the games afterwards.
What happens when you try to launch it? Something to try if you have not already is to disconnect from the wifi and reconnect before trying to launch it again.
I managed to get fallout and a few others running but could not get my hands on the correct version of Blood, even got a working verison on the pc but not the rgxxh sadly
ordered a rg35xxsp so i can have a clamshell that runs stardew valley, undertale, and other games. hoping that the fallout, lisa, and srb2 kart ports will run, or that theyll be compatible soon

Thank you for this video. I hava a quick question on stardewvelly. In the game, the day when rainy if you visit the shop located in beach, the game is automatically closed and getting back to the game list. Does it happend to you as well?
I did everything shown here for Balatro but for some reason the game just wouldn't start from the menu. Anyone who had the same issue? Couldn't find anything on the net about it as well. Using RG35XX H with muOS 11.
UPDATE: Found the fix. I was using a dual-card setup and copied over the Balatro.exe to the main internal SD card ports/balatro folder. Apparently, the ports folder was available on BOTH cards (main OS internal, and secondary external) including the games installed from PortMaster. The UI in Explore content was defaulting to the external card for some reason. After finding that out, I copied my Balatro.exe file to the secondary SD card folder and now it works! Hope it helps.
I see you have a folder for jedi academy. I tried to install it but when I try to boot it, the screen goes black and then just goes back to the folder. Do you know how I can fix this?
@@PhyrexTechs I used compatibility version but they say that the new version is 64 bit despite it daying 32 bit so it wont boot at the RG35xx plus at all
I played a few minutes on the SP with the D-Pad and did not run into any problems or things I could not do. So it should work on the Plus but if you try it let me know if you run into any issues.
Mac should work fine. I know for Balatro you would need the Balatro.love file instead of the Balatro.exe file. From the Portmaster website : portmaster.games/detail.html?name=balatro "On macOS the file is under ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Balatro/Balatro.app/Contents/Resources (if you don't know how to navigate there, go to Steam > Right Click on Balatro > Manage > Browse Local File. Then in the Balatro.app package, right click > Show Package Contents > then go to Contents/Resources)"
Hmm that's odd. Have you tried the link on the muOS.dev website? With the themes being created and updated by the community it makes it a little easier for everyone at the moment to have them on the discord. If you still are having issues I'll see if I download and zip some of the current ones for you.

Yeah I have heard good things about it. It's a fork of Batocera cfw and I think that is where the future of Batocera update when go. A little to heavy of a firmware for me but a lot of people like it and I hope they keep improving it.

@@PhyrexTechs Yep. But it still falls behind when it comes to amiga emulation and ports. But you can plug it to your tv, connect two or more bluetooth controlers and have fun.
