not unusual for a small block to make this kind of power now days. it really doesn’t matter what cubic inch engine you have really as long as you have it built to handle whatever you throw at it. when you got a turbo combination like that the power comes from having the right cam & the right heads that flow well!! & the amount of boost you run but you’ve gotta have giant injectors & a good fuel pump to support the power. little tiny 5.3 ls engines I’ve seen make 2,000+ horsepower pretty easily. I know this isn’t a ls based engine but I was just using it as an example. I’ve seen regular old standard deck & cam location small block chevys make that much as well with the right combo to support the power. a lot of it is how much air & fuel you consume.
Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather hear about the motor waiting for the dyno run instead of that awful LOUD music. Impressive power for such a small motor though
I always thought the Murder Nova should have some sort of barrier/ protection plate between the interior routed boosted intake tube and the drivers torso and neck/ face. Ive seen more than a few compressor wheels cut right through boost tubes during a failure.
Where's Big Chief's giant laptop when you need it? Need to take some power out of it so it will stick to the road. 😏😂 Oh wait... It's not a street car, it's a PRO MOD.
@nextgamer either u are on crack but let me tell u something it is not a pro mod it's a all steel car with steel roof and quarters with factory vin tag so if u don't like it don't watch drag racing and don't watch street outlaws
red bed he’s never said that the whole time he was building the car he said that it’s a real car it stock front frame rails steel roof and quarters and a vin
@@brandonsikes9166 yeah Shawn did say it is a pro mod with steel roof and quarter's and wheel base just listen to the podcast about Steve Jobs the chief and Shawn podcast
red bed it’s impossible for it to be a pro mod with the way the car is built

Topp..
@@evo7836 how is 3200 hp not impressive? Especially to the wheels? Sure anyone with a wallet can do it. But that doesn't mean that it's not significant. It still requires a lot of work and skill to make happen. 3200 on a big block is even impressive. I can't understand why anyone would say 3200 is unimpressive? Do you have something making 3200 hp or understand what it takes to make that happen? Personally I have a 1800 hp rig and it's nothing compared to this but even that for a normal guy in my opinion is a substantial accomplishment. Just because of who he his and what he's able to do don't take away from the fact that they accomplished 3200 hp to the wheels.
@@rhino3292 Because I know what that engine is and what size turbos are on there and what that car is supposed to compete against. Seeing it put out over 3000 horse is expected.
Making that much power is easy if you’ve got money. Seems like he has a hard time getting it down on the road and going straight. That’s where real knowledge comes in.
Regardless, even if it was half that power. It’s still a HEAP. And controlled environment or not, it’s still less safe not being on the track...where a ditch is on side the road or some animal decides to cross the street mid race. It has happened before. Those power levels are dangerous any way you look at it.
I like Murder nova but honestly he ain't hardly won a race since he built the new nova. I think he's struggling without bigchief tunning his car. Hope he gets it figured out soon.
@@Max-me9xq if you'd ever seen a transmission come apart under load you'd understand. Most of these guys don't use a safety blanket on top of the transmission because of the weight, and it's like a bomb going off in the car when something goes wrong.
Maaaaan. Idk. Ive heard this thing in person and in videos. That dont sound all the way turned up. Hes too street to just throw his power out there like this.
