MURDERER - Why Bellatrix Was DESPERATE To Kill Her Niece TONKS 

Bellatrix not only kills Tonks her own Niece, but earlier killed her own cousin Sirius Black also.

Remember, Bellatrix tried to kill Tonks long before the war. In the book, she tried to kill Tonks while she was escorting one of the multiple harry potter’s away from his home on Privet Drive.

Bellatrix wanted to kill her niece tonks so badly for a couple of different reasons: 1) Voldemort wanted her to. After he humiliated her at one of the death eater meetings about her niece tonks marrying a werewolf, he told her it was important to prune her family tree to keep it healthy. & of course bc of how obsessed/in love she was with Voldemort, she wanted to make him happy/proud by killing Tonks & even vowed to kill her sister andromeda & her muggleborn brother in law. 2) she believed & valued her pro pureblood beliefs so much that she wanted to kill her niece Tonks bc it went along fully with her beliefs. She felt like tonks was an abomination & shouldn’t even exist because in her eyes, tonks ruined the house of black family tree & its image. So she made it her goal, besides Voldemort’s wishes, to kill tonks because she wanted to wipe her clean from the black family tree & restore her family’s image/name. Also, I think she wanted to kill tonks to get back at/punish her sister andromeda for marrying a muggleborn, Ted tonks, she despised & was disgusted by andromeda for doing this. She also probably wanted to punish her for getting with a muggleborn & creating a half blood child.

Helena Bonham Carter was the only actress to play Bellatrix. In fact, she WAS Bellatrix.

Not only kill Tonks, but also laugh about it

Bellatrix loved Voldemort more than she loved her own blood. She hated her own cousin Sirius because she considered him a blood traitor. And she only started to persecute Tonks after Voldemort showed his disdain for her an lupin's marriage.

I read somewhere that Emma Watson said she was genuinely terrified of HBC during Hermione's torture scene and that it even gave her nightmares afterwards. I can see why. HBC is such a fantastic actress.

Great video! I did want to add some things. We can see very clearly from the start of Half Blood Prince, that Bellatrix is trying to kill Tonks. When she and Narcissa go to Snape to protect Draco, Bellatrix kills a fox. Why? Because Tonk's full name is Nymphadora Vulpecula Tonks. Vulpecula is a group of stars named 'the fox'. So some how Bellatrix thinks that maybe the fox is Tonks is Metamorphus (possible even Animagi) state. Then during the flight of the Seven Potter's, Bellatrix once again seeks Tonks out, how is escorting Ron. In part by Ron's quick thinking she is saved. She even tells Remus that she saw how focused Bellatrix was on trying to kill her. So Tonk's realised she had become a target of her aunt.

Sometimes, from watching Lucias and Draco's relationship I wonder if all pure bloods were abused into their beliefs. Sirius and Tonks going against the programing probably increased the abuse for everyone as a preventive.

I wish duel between Bellatrix and Tonks was shown and it was very equal fight.

There is no doubt that Bellatrix was a killer. I agree with the reasons you presented, and I wish we could have seen someone on Bellatrix's level taking on her like Andromeda. Sadly Andromeda decided not to confront her sister and she of all people deserved a chance to shut her up. However the title is problematic a bit "Murderer" because she killed her niece in a declared war during the most important fight ever. With all sadness of her death, Nymphadora Tonks was beaten in a fair fight with her aunt just like Sirius lost in a fair fight to her. Murder in war is when the other combatant surrenders or unable to continue fighting. We don't know if she wasn't able anymore but we do know that Tonks fought like a Lion to the end without surrender.

Not Gonna lie - I absolutely love Bellatrix, she is one of my very favourite characters.
