The assumptions in this video are so dangerous and the mayor is afraid of getting called 'racist.' There are countless ethnic religions in the world and AFA is one. Is this same mayor going to have problems with a Hindu Temple, a Greek Orthodox church, a synagogue, a Latino/Spanish speaking church? All ethnic religions focus on their ethnic heritage but they also take in converts.
Ethnic culture and heritage is not racist. Love for family and ancestry DOES NOT equate to hate for others. Trying to stigmatize a group of people through straw man arguments and ignorance is wrong and hateful.

What a double standard it says in the Old Testament a Jewish person cannot marry a none Jewish person and no one is harassing them. Yet if people of Northern European ancestry want their own tribal spiritual groups exclusively for their own families to come together some how that is the same as racial imperialism? The Zoroastrians only want to let other Persian join them and no one is calling them racial supremacists. Freedom of association and religion comes before feelings in America.
Any change of status quo risks appearing conspiratorial and predatory. Saying the AFA is choosing small towns in a sinister plan is like saying homeless people choose a town - in reality there is just nowhere else for them to go. This church is a rebirth of a community at this building by the same ethnicity who created it, with a developed religious creed that is less focused on self-flagellation and which has real ideas about how to relate to other ethnicities in common peace and flourishing. They deserve deep breaths and to be given a chance. Europeans have been Christians for over 1500 years and, while I think it's important to understand our pre-Christian heritages we should return to our true heritage which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is only one God, creator of all things and all peoples and He offers salvation to all. However, it's clear that this journalist is being dishonest in her presentation of this group.

This Church accepts only European descent. I know of a College that still only accept people from a single Color of people. Is there outrage toward them?
