Mucho, Mucho, Respect to Lisa Bluder. To take Iowa to back to back final fours with less than resources of traditional powerhouses is amazing testament to her leadership. Sides must go she cannot take CC to the next level. Lisa Bluder can and she should be given the opportunity to do so.
I think Bluder was a joy to watch!! She has a strong positive attitude that could only want a player to do their best! How great to retire and know you where a positive reinforcement to so many people!
Such a great legacy this exceptional coach and person has left for others to reflect upon. With basketball in her veins it would not surprise me if in a few years as more WNBA teams come on board that she may decide re-emerge on the scene and continue building another powerhouse. She is a classy woman of integrity and high EQ that knows how to bring out the best in others. To me she appears like a mother to the ladies only ladened with tough love and tough discipline. What Bluder decides to do it will be done with excellence and I would love to see her reappear on the scene in any fashion she chooses.
Please give Fever coach some time to adjust as fans demand answers immediately following a game and it is pressure to show competence in what needs to improve. Saying very little is also criticism where others say she does not know the answers. Obviously she is not sleeping with everyone screaming for her to get fired. Hard to imagine the personal intensity each of them are feeling. Time will tell what happens but I hope no one’s health suffers for the enormity of the stress and responsibility it entails.
@valeriecaraotta7788 the last thing Caitlan needs is having a coach fired. There are too many haters. Jealous nobodies who have most likely never dis anything in their lives.
When college players all over the country watch CC play and get to know Coach Bluder; I will bet my last dollar that many regret that they did not play at Iowa with CC and Coach Bluder !
Retirement? Ya right, I expect within the next month she will be named as the new head coach of the Indiana Fever of the WNBA if they have any brains at all that is. 🤔
I agree with everything you say about Coach Bluder; however, in the fourth quarter against South Carolina, she should have told her team that Caitlin Clark takes the first shot in every possession.
Coach Bluder will live a celeberty life in lowa. Just like the great jonny Orr their wont be anyplace she goes where folks wont greet her with the love of a hawkeye fan.
