Murray garden tractor with sleeve hitch 

Thank you for this video of the sleeve hitch! I have the same tractor and have been wanting to put a sleeve hitch on mine but wasn't sure what one looked like for this tractor. With this video I can fab something up. Mine is a 1984 Craftsman GT18, which was built by Murray that year. It's the same as a Murray 18/42 which is also known as a Murray 39004. Since they were sold by Sears, you can get parts diagrams etc. from them. 502.25376 is the Sears designation. It surprised me to see that the pin that goes all the way through the back plate isn't actually for a sleeve hitch...

Looks fun! Probably stamped somewhere on the Briggs engine shroud you'll find the model, type, and code. The first two digits of the "code" represent the year of manufacture.

That’s a good machine . I know your Sears Suburban was originally a David Bradley suburban . The only place you could get that machine was sears . Just like my walk behind . I’m not sure if Sears bought DB but when the Sears suburban came to be all the other David Bradley machines went away . I do know that MTD started making the craftsman , Murray , yard man and a few other brands .

I've got same here model#2460 . I have a murray 5hp tiller still runs and you got to have that a hitch to pull it .

My wife dad had one like that but no hitch. Never seen one before.
