Murtlap Essence and Tentacles : DIY Prop Potion : Fantastic Beasts Inspired : Harry Potter Inspired

This is a Tutorial of how to make Murtlap Essence and Murtlap Tentacles. I will show you how to make a prop of the Essence as well as the Tentacles. These props are so perfect that they are sure to ease your cuts and abrasions and protect you from curses and jinxes. Fred and George Weasley LOVE this potion since it helped to complete their skiving snack boxes!
You will need:
Glass Bottle with Stopper
Hinged Glass Bottle
Color Shift Yellow Acrylic Paint
Rubbing Alcohol
Grey Fishing Worms or Hot Glue Strands
Labels printed on sticker paper
Black Cording (optional)
Wood Beads (optional)
Wax Seal and Black Wax or Hot Glue

A new video!!!! Love it!! I love the bright yellow color.. I just got done making the mermaid tears and mermaid wish... I just added some white and sky blue pearls to the mermaid wish potion as well as white and light blue glitter - they turned out beautiful!! Now I need to decorate them 🤗🤗🤗 P.S. The Silica Beads are a pain in the butt to find!! I ended up taking some Silica beads from my fiance's medicine bottles but for anyone having a hard time finding them they sell them on the "Wish" app.

I couldn't find yellow color shift paint in my little town so I used Green flash color shift paint with regular yellow paint turned out the same for others in the same situation

Wal-Mart has a great assortment of the worms in the fishing aisle cheap . In fact can get some that looks like gillyweed.

I remember you made a comment in your gillywig video that it was more like a gel like substance then the foliage idea you were using. You could use the fishing worm idea for an improved look to your gillywig video.

This looks awesome! I'm curious as to whether or not the paint and the alcohol separate over time. I have some mica powder I could use but I love the acid yellow color this paint gives.

They do not separate. Only the mica in the paint separates until you re-shake it up. I hope that helps 😊

MisterKnitter it should, you can also use distilled water and some glycerin instead of alcohol. I show this technique with Potion for Dreamless Sleep. 😊💜

How did you get hot wax in a a glue gun? Is it homemade crayon wax or something fancy

Sarah Walther something fancy, 😉 you can buy sealing wax for a glue gun. But colored glue sticks work really well too.

For the tentacles I think that using latex work as well. You can get it in a Halloween store, this is more pricey that hotglue, but more realistic

@@illuminateme5703 Oh, maybe the Gelatin/glicerine thing that makeup artist use in prosthetics, Glam and Gore have one tutorial making scales, Or ElliMacFX channel have one making tentacles! it is a little bit complicated but that works peeeerfeeect! I hope than that helps you!
