This museum was one of the main references during my training as a private and commercial pilot, which inspired me throughout this whole preriod and still continues to do so until this day. Lovely tour, also very well produced, thanks indeed for sharing and congratulations mate!!!
Wow! I never knew there was a Royal Air Force museum in London until now! Plus free entry! That’s great! I must plan my visit! 😊👍🏻 Thanks soo much for sharing! 😃👍🏻
Hello! This museum is amazing as you said to me! Astonishing! I am very impressed! Short Sunderland, Supermarine Spitfire, Handley Page Halifax, a Typhoon made using tools and keyboards, Westland Sea King, RAF rescue boats, a German Heinkel He-111, WWI aircrafts, weaponry, uniforms, hats and so on. You are right: I must visit it on my next trip to London after the pandemic, this madness will pass. Thank you for sharing this video! All the best from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil!
You're very welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!! They have an outstanding collection. Felt goosebumps as I was filming these planes that changed the course of history.
Fantastic video! You have now encouraged me to re-visit this incredible museum! I haven't been since 1976, and my, how it has changed. Thank you VERY much for posting this, and kind regards. Excellent footage.
A lot of American made planes in there, indicates the 38,000 planes of all types lend leased to the RAF from America !! And glade to see the Brits acknowledged the 350,000 American airmen that served in 8th AF about three times what served in the RAF and that they had a small memorial to acknowledge that fact !!!
How did you manage to get round the whole thing like less than 2 hours?? It used to take me a whole day to get round it as a child who would just run around and look at everything for about 5-30 seconds
This was my third visit, and it won't be my last! This film serves as a taster tour in the hopes of encouraging more people to explore this hidden gem.
Yeah, it's too bad the creator didn't think to do a full luftwaffe montage./s It is the RAF museum. The video creator spent more than five full minutes of video capturing luftwaffe aircraft and related displays in the museum's Battle of Britain section, and he videoed literally every luftwaffe aircraft on display. I would say WWII era aircraft built and used by Imperial Japan are the rarest in the world, numerically speaking. Make your own video.
