The problem is not the name banyarwanda coz for me I can easily identify a munyarwanda basing on his or her social interaction, mostly on this regime these are people with self entitlement wherever you finds them in Uganda though not all, but 80% they behave like they're coming from mars.
I am happy to see Mr. Gashumba standing up for the "Bavandimwes." I only wish he would consider the true source of the injustices. It is hard for non-Bavandimwes to relate to this issue because when you look at every heads of most major institutions in this country, you will find a muvandimwe. Let it be in the military wings, political, judiciary, education, and so on. I am not denying that the Bavandimwes are not ugandans. They are! I also believe some of them are disenfranchised by the system. The main reason this is happening is because other ugandan tribes have been on the sidelines watching Bavandimwes enjoying the loot of the land without dropping crumbs. The day you Bavandimwes pick up the regular Ugandans cause to demand for the government to share the pie with them on a somewhat fair basis, that will be the first blow against tribalism in Uganda. This is coming from me a mother of a muvandimwe child though I am not a muvandimwe. The one issue I will put on Museveni is the daily influx of Rwandan citizens in Uganda. That is another reason (I think) why Bavandimwes are scrutinized. Lastly, other Ugandans cannot be tribalistic because they do not own institutions. They can only be prejudiced.
