Yorushika is my favorite band. I don't know how to describe it precisely but Suis-san's voice is so fullfilling and satisfyeing to listen to I never get bored of it, and rest of the band support her voice in the best way possible.
Yorushika has so many good songs, there are a couple I am curious to see your reactions on being "Plagiarism" and "That's why I gave up on music" for the topics they cover about music, as well as them just being really good songs in general both having nice rhythm and some really nice piano work. If i were to suggest songs more for their musical flavor then "Thought crime" and "Rain with cappuccino" would be great. Those two both have really amazing base playing and drum patterns.
@@ra1nning_i agree Odorouze is definitely one of the hidden gems (they have way too many hidden gems that don't make it to RU-vid) but Tony always loves variety and i feel like spring thief is a good piece to switch up the usual loud pop rock since he said he's getting used to the vibe of yorushika already. Either way, that only means one thing to us, there's still a LOT more for us to go cuz this duo is just that good 😂
Thank you for always reacting and receiving Yorushika well. Their other songs are great too.. Itte and thoughtcrime, bomber, the old man and the sea and many more!
I don't know how to explain it myself but you hit every explanation I felt in the very groovy parts of the song! This just reveals to me how much of a storyteller really is n-buna. Not just with his lyrics but also in his composition! What a goeated man. Special shoutout to Tatsuya Kitani lol. Your bass playing made Tony just love this song so much more xd
The thing that stuck out to me the most originally was always the vocalist and electric lead. Hearing your breakdown of the note choices of the Bass has completely changed how I hear the song for the better!
Tangent Tony, but we love it that’s why we watch these videos 😎 great song and analysis! The ‘choir’ part was also present earlier on as well, but the call back at the end was nice. With yorushika you just know it’s gonna be good musicianship and grooves while still giving that pop fix that many crave👌
Great video as always Tony! You DEFINITELY should check their 2021 single "Tsuki ni Hoeru" (Howl at The Moon). It's a whole different vibe compared to their other songs.
the beauty in yorushika comes from not only n-buna's knowledge of instrumentals and how to manipulate them but in the lyrics as well! I wish there was a way for you to talk about the depth of his lyrics, too.
you really gotta check out "Who will know (Tragedy)" from the Movie "Shin Godzilla" The OST really lets you feel what its like the moment and in general is just an amazing piece of music
I noticed that you really like Yorushika's drum!! Yhe support drummer is Masack!! 🤍🤍 i also love his drum play!! He was a former drummer for MY FIRST STORY but then joined Yorushika as support drum! His drum play really suit Suis vocal and i love that very much
It took me some time to find the Hammond-style keyboard part in this song. It starts at 2:32 part. It's really subtle, just some licks and ends at the stop-time. If anyone here likes this song as much as I do - definitely find that part.
Yorushika's songs are insane. Their lyrics and pacing/mood of the song doesn't match at all, you'll vibe until you see the translations. Not to mention the lore of the songs are beautiful.
I know this is kinda different to what you have been listening to recently but i reckon you would in enjoy ultrakill's soundtrack mainly the "P-1" Theme Order its a fast paced drum and base with some great emotion to it given the background i think it will surprise you
