This is inspiring dude. Did my first tour with an artist earlier this year, and it really is a different world. I had photographers in every city ask me, how do I do what you do?! And honestly, I felt like a phony, because just like you said, it’s all about being in the right place at the right time, and going after an opportunity. Robert said it well, “do cool shit” and I’ll add to that point, you gotta really want it. The industry is all about relationships and connections. Good luck with your AJR tour, I’m excited to see your content and I’d love to keep in touch if you’re ever around Atlanta!

I love the fact that if Austin hadn’t tried to sneak into a festival years ago then all of us wouldn’t have these amazing AJR tour photos and tour docs, plus the brothers would have one less amazing and cool friend.

Sometimes things just fall into place! It definitely helps though that you had that attitude of knowing what you wanted and just going for it. Someone else in that position might have been told no and just left
