As soon as i stepped into Hyjal for the first time and heard this I had to stop everything and just listen. This is by far the best song in World of Warcraft. Ever. I have it on repeat all the time whenever I am playing World of Warcraft.

This music makes you feel like your in a safe haven, making the outside world seem dangerous, but in the world tree, its all safe, this music supports it.
It's not too nerdy. You aren't the first person to wish that a world of make believe or beyond human grasp was real and accessible. People have been wishing that long before there were nerds.
With Recruit-A-Friend this was the only zone I got to experience in Cataclysm, but I really fucking loved it. Even went back for Firelands to get the mount and title.

Though tribes and clans of trolls have been in existence almost or some speculate even as long as they have, the Darkspear trolls playable in the game have not been around nearly as long, thus making the night elves the second most ancient race playable in the game (the most ancient is the draenei race) and the first to appear on Azeroth
Mained a hunter, faced a druid, loved the animal form, saw a balance druid summon treeant was hooked and made a druid. Leveled as balance, was grueling and slow. hit 40 and screamed. died with my blank moonkin bar XD. Watched a priest video involving mind control, fell in love with the light and shadow magic, made priest. Priest is current main.
@kerstmanclan nordrassil is the first world tree created by the druids of the night elves. It was destroyed at the second burning legion attack. malfurian stormrage wanted to restore nordrassil, but fandral( the boss of the druids at WOTLK) wanted to create a new tree. and thats teldrassil :D
@0beastly0 Lore time!!! 10,000 years ago in Warcraft time line there was The War of the Ancents. In one of the final battles of the war, the Ancents came to help in the battle. One of the Ancents was named Aviana died. She was sort of the God of flying things if a flying thing died it went to her heaven. This bird heaven was a tree called G'Haner. When Aviana died the tree died with her. But one of the seeds from the tree was taken from the realm by the dragons and used to plant Nordrassil.
yeahhh!! I wish I could have born in that place and spend my life as an adventurer, doing quests and raids and discovering all those wonderful places. Jesus dude, the guys from blizz who created azeroth are freaking GODS!
well dude, more than half of our world is consumed in hunger and warfare. We where just lucky enough to born in the right country with the right family.
Azeroth Human: I wish that Azeroth were just a terrible nightmare and that we really lived in a world not threatened by The Burning Legion, Deathwing, The Lich King, or....THE HORDE.
@lolt4rds The reason the Horde is in turmoil is BECAUSE many learned from their mistakes, it's why Cairne and most of the Tauren openly disagreed with Garrosh. Unfortunatly Thrall gave a hot headed, power hungry, arrogant, ignorant whelp a position of high authority, at least the Alliance has Varian and Anduin to put some stability into this.
The world of music is changing. Who do you think will have a larger audience? A single composer trying to make music similar to Mozart, or the several composers making music to specific areas in a world wide video game?
If it makes you nerd then it makes me one too... Being able to escape into a world where almost anything is possible...being someone who's able to stand up for their beliefs... Who wouldn't want that?

@TheEpicGod1 Part 2 The tree was grown on the NEW Well of Etenity made by Illidan. The Well of Etenity being the lake under the Nordrassil. The tree was blessed by Nozdramu blessed the tree to GIVE them eternal life. Yesara bound the Tree to the Emerald Dream so the Night elfs could go to the Dream. Forgot what the other one did. That is how the Night Elfs became immortal before that they were never immortal they lost the immortalness when they used the powers of Nordrassil to stop Archimonde.
