I personally like this music even though I'm alliance, because it reflects the changes Orgrimmar suffered since Thrall gave the Warchief title to Garrosh, the city turned from a small town to a huge fortress with Steel and Stone walls, Mennacingly tall towers with Iron spikes sprouting from them, orcs training outeside its walls, inside its walls, on top of its walls, under the city itself, in real life, Orgrimmar would have legions of orcs marching inside it with one high-ranking orc randomly screaming "FOR THE HORDE" and the rest following him, now it feels sad that its walls are broken, its shores stormed, its entrance stained with blood and oil, RFC is now an underground bunker half-ruined, but hell even on invasions, it felt great running to those massive gates
PigmyRhino I remember it as a small town because everything was apart, I visited it as an invader and as an ally quite a few times, there would be huge spaces without buildings, now with Iron Orgrimmar, the place is crowded with huge Iron buildings
I personally prefer garrosh's horde since it was about total warfare he did not let some fool from the alliance tell him what to do VICTORY OR DEATH LOK'TAR OGAR!!

Kalimdor races completely agree. Blood elves also kinda adopted that way. But your bitch warchief really destroys your image, be glad Saurfang actually gets the spotlight in this expansion, being even part of a Warrior quest to finally bring back some Horde badassery.

That's exactly what I was trying to explain with that comparison. Whoever has the most military and economic power is inevitably going to end up having power over everyone else, both in the real world and in WoW.

Correction. Warchief, literally has control over all the Horde. Stormwind's the military and economic centre of the Alliance. Thus' Varian has at least even a little bit more of authority over council of Ironforge, Tyrande, etc etc.
Think of it this way: Varian is the President Obama of the Alliance. He technically only leads one race but everyone knows he's the one who ends up taking all the big decisions. Stormwind serves as the headquarters for the Alliance where all the major decisions are taken, like the Washington DC of Azeroth. Varian doesn't officially have a big "LEADER OF THE ALLIANCE" sign hanging over his head but it's kind of a widely accepted thing. Same thing on the Horde side with Orgrimmar.
Lauren Schnabel because alliance aren't very good as a team and I know so I was in a team in alliance that's why I gave up and decide to stick with the horde so blood and thunder proud as a blood elf and pandaren horde
I miss the music, the only place you can here it now is the gates, not in the valley of strength anymore. I remember sitting in the middle of valley of strength in my mount listening to this music... Man i felt so cool, brave, and proud of being in the horde.
@TabletopwargamingHD Well, I don't know how accurate that is anymore, but in the beginning it used to be that the Alliance had a large number of little kids, and that more experienced and "mature" players chose to play as Horde. It was debated that the alliance start-up screen had brighter colours, and that the instruction book hinted that the Alliance were the good guys and that Horde were evil. For this reason, little kids chose to play as them. However, this alignment is far from the truth.
...And in another part of it, I seem to remember that the Hordes main base in Stonetalon would have been destroyed if the player hadn't found Alliance attack plans or whatever it was. The Night Elves constantly atacked Splintertree post in Ashenvale (one of the bases that basically is destroyed at the end of the questlines), and the Horde had to resort to using demons to buy a small amount of time. The Horde want conquest, but they fail badly in Ashenvale, despite their numbers...

The day the new patch was out and the shattering happened I took the zepplin from the warsong hold to Orgrimmar and as i flew in there was a wide view with another zepplin docking in the back ground. The them at 1.46 was playing and I said what is this place and then it flashed on my screen ORGIMMAR and it gave me goose bumps. This is how a horde city should be.
And that's not my only evidence for his respect, just because he has problems with their leaders doesn't stop the race from being powerful and respected.

The Orcs started it again in Cataclysm even though they had a treaty because they believe that Kalimdor is rightfully theirs, that is their arrogance, not the Twilights Hammer or Putress. And I'm not talking about the Alliance in general, each race has their own individuality. Maybe Humans or whatever started the whole war in the first place, but I'm not talking about them.
...The Horde managed to cut down some trees at the Warsong Lumber camp, a bit less at Silverwing Refuge, and hardly anything at the warsong labor camp, before one of those were destroyed, one of them overrun with chaos and Furbolgs and simply waiting to be retaken by the Night Elves, and one of them tiny, insignificant and likely to be destroyed quickly, also blocked from the Mor'shan rampart by the constant Night Elf attacks.
@BlackTemplar43 Back in the beginning the Alliance also had all the "pretty" races. Humans were normal looking, dwarves and gnomes were funny, and night elves were stereotypical sexy purple people. The Horde had all the "ugly" races, so most people whose brains could not get past the "must be pretty" stage of character development defaulted to the Alliance. When the Blood Elves were introduced to the Horde the collective IQ of the faction dropped like 20 points.
Yes Horde did get destroyed in Ashenvale, as shown in the questlines, and said by many people on the forums. And the Orcs attacked the Draenei while pumped up on Demon Blood and with the help of the control of the Burning Legion.
(Con. no. 7) Then we got Varian saving Tyrande's arse from madman Garrosh that wields most epic weapon ever, Gorehowl. Then we got Cenarius arriving in the last moment to save precious forests of Ashenvale from mad Orcs in the Third War. Then we look at the things like this and say : Only 5% of Total Horde are there. Warsong Outriders and Hellscream's Reach. Two small factions that're kicking Alliance's asses. (Will be continued no. 7)
Now that they have an emaciated blue troll for a warchief, all my prior years playing horde have been for naught. No more Orc pride, no more strength, it's all for the Alliance now. FOR THE ALLIANCE!
I play wow by 5 years.First 2 years i played both horde and alliance but in the last 3yrs i only played alliance because i love my cities and lore. The only time i see orgrimmar now is when we raid it. Nice music btw
