I never thought anything would top Breaking Bad for me, but AOT takes the top spot in my book. Its not just my favorites anime, that goes to Bleach. But AOT is my favorite series of all time. It’s one of the greatest stories in fiction, of all time.
If you like a deep plot, complex character development, and a unique atmosphere: I recommend you check out the Berserk Series (manga is best, if you want to watch a series, watch anything except the 2016 version).
AOT is once in a lifetime treasure. A modern classic. Pinnacle of modern anime. The story telling, the soundtracks and animations, the holy trinity of success is just stupendous.
After watching AOT I actually remember trying out this series called Aldnoah Zero, just because it looked neat. After hearing the music at the "nuke scene" in the pilot I immediately recognized Sawano's style, it was such a pleasant surprise to randomly stumble across his perfect work like that.
The best ost video for attack on titan to react is the one made by the composer, sawano, named "emu project", where he plays in studio with a band some of the best musics in the show.
I wish I could forget that I even read this manga or watch the show just so that I could experience it for the first time all over again. This is a masterpiece ❤️
more than just a good anime, it's like a beautiful story, filled with no less beautiful, lively, sensual and soulful music, perfectly combined with many dramatic moments, speeches, characters, moments, a real miracle, I doubt that they will ever be able to come up with a more masterpiece anime than this is
if you're planning to watch the anime, stop reacting on the music by watching the youtube videos listen on spotify or any other music player or just go straight with the anime
AOT is definitely worth a watch for anyone, even non anime fans. I feel like it's a show that anyone who can appreciate great characters, writing, music and a touch of a political/underground drip-fed revelation trope can agree that it's a masterpiece through and through.
One of the best written shows of all time... Hiroyuki Sawano did his part in making masterpiece OSTs that deserving of this show.. so glad you're reacting to it!

Great reaction! I don't think I need to emphasize on how AoT is a masterpiece because the top comment already does. Always and everywhere. :) Anyway, the music is top tier as much as the story, you already know since you've heard one of the best ones in the show right here. About spoilers : I suggest that from next time you don't look at the scenes or the videos. The visuals are epic but they spoil the whole show for you. As a huge fan, I'd really like to advise anyone to not get spoiled about the show, at least unwantedly. Try watching videos where there is only a cover image or something like that. Hope you also forget whatever you saw here by the time you watch the show. Yes, they dropped an ice cream cone lol. AoT OST suggestions : Right now you actually reacted to two different themes called Apple Seed and YouSeeBigGirl. Remember the pause in between before the vocals started? That's where both were joined in the show. Would highly recommend AoT suite by Hiroyuki Sawano. It's a video where they show all the musicians in the band playing the instruments (Sawano himself on the piano), so visually pleasing (plus no risk of spoilers). However, I only liked some of them so if not all, I'd suggest you at least (definitely) react to Attack on Titan wmid theme. It's at the same level of epicness as this one. Animé in general : If you like this niche of animé, there are numerous great OSTs and opening themes which would blow your mind. You can start with Attack on Titan openings (there are 7 of them) and see for yourself how awesome they are. [Even if you go by RU-vid viewership, I don't think you can't not get views on that, we fans can't just get enough of it xD] Also, some of the openings of various other animé are absolute bangers. Once (and if) you get into it, I'm sure everyone including myself would suggest a lot of good ones then. Keep up the good work! Peace.
I've not seen one person have anything shy of a lovestruck reaction to these songs. And it pleases me each and every time. Music has the power to bring everyone together. It's proof of the soul. And this show, and the music, is chock FULL of heart and soul. So much that it MAKES you invest in the characters, even if you know it's risky.
Hiroyuki Sawano done some really good music in the AOT ost, I'm loving it. Hiroyuki also work for the Gundam UC ost as well, this is the series i came to knew him. But I haven't seen ppl react to this series in YT. I would love to see your reaction for it man, you can try some Gundam UC track like “Unicorn”, those are really good too.
I love in the beginning of the song the instruments harmonize with the singer but are much lower volume then at 9:24 after the big explosive reveal, they harmonize with her again but this time almost just as loud as her, threatening to drown her out. It gives me the feeling of being overwhelmed by my thoughts, and finding it hard to concentrate on the singers voice.

The manga and anime is called "Shingeki No Kyojin" The translated version for the entire story is called "Attack on titan" which makes more sense in the English version instead of just calling it the "Attack Titan" because if you understood the story. The focus of the story revolves around the "Attack Titan" or Eren specifically. Attack on Titan just appeals more to the western audience and makes them more invested into watching the show as to oppose to just calling it "Attack Titan" the anime.
