Almost looks more like a “music store” - great room! I like how you organize your collection - very unique. Also like the variety in your collection. Thanks for showing your room. I love the autographed “Sam and Dave”!
Fabulous collection, beautifully arranged and displayed and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed your detailed presentation. Thank you for the wonderful share!
Thank you for the tour. Wow!!!!!! You have an amazing collection and music room. It’s like a Record store! One of these days, I would like to see it in person!🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
I love room tours. Such a great space and the organization is top notch. Love those DIY boxsets. Lots of inspiration was found for my own listening lady lair. Happy Spinning ~ Cindy
B!!! I LOVE the tour man. I don't know where to even begin. If your invite still stands, I have GOT to get up there and meet you this year!! I'm in the "resealable sleeve" camp!! So I was especially glad to see that :D
Ha Ha! Thanks so much! Yes, yes, yes!! You guys totally need to come up for a weekend and hang. Plenty of room and plenty of record stores! It would be a blast!!!!
Hi Brendon. Amazing music room tour video my friend. Your collection is so awesome! And your room looks so cool and cozy! Thank you for sharing. Take care! Cheers 🤘
Hey bud your pal from NC here. I am utterly amazed at your attention to detail.and systems you have in place. IMHO you could design and set up not only music dens but brick and mortar stores as well. Amazing.! JUST BLOWN AWAY. Hope all is well and glad to see you finally getting things in order in the new space of the house. Talk soon.........Dave.
Wish I had the space to arrange my collection like a store like this. It would definitely encourage me to flip through and remember what I have. I can't help but find your "ladies of" sub-sections funny, but whatever works for you!
Hi, Brandon! Wow, those of us who remember your very first room tour video from about fifteen years ago can only give you a standing ovation - you finally have the ultimate music lover's dream place!! Catching up with your channel once again and these videos will always make me click in anticipation, hahah, just amazing 🙌 Good to see that your channel is active and the VC is still thriving, I have great nostalgia for this community every now and then ❤
That Vic Rattlehead kicks maximum booty🔥 what can I say man, I've been watching for a very long time.truly a music lovers dreamland. Edit: LOVE the wall hanging CD racks..and the fact that you play collect and enjoy reel to reels
Love your room tours .gave me some good ideas.i collect As well I'm not as hardcore as you with the individual bags for cds but I ain't knocking it haha
Hey B: Killer room tour. 😃👍. The attention to detail and the labor of love makes it the best of the VC. Tons of inspiration here. I love the DIY music crafts with custom artwork. Rock Always! - Heather
Absolutely amazing collection and music room, man. The love and care put into it just bleeds through the screen in every way. As someone who owns "only" about 200 records, seeing something like this is just awe inspiring.
Hello again. Thanks for letting me know you made this updated video. I enjoyed it even more than the one from 2022. I love how organized you are and the label system you use. I’m similar with organization in many ways. I just got back into physical media about a year ago and have only bought cds which I love but I also just ordered a turntable which will arrive on Monday. I was hesitant to go down the vinyl rabbit hole because of the high cost and also the cleaning involved but I finally gave in. Like you, I love the big artwork. I have a couple albums on the way from Amazon also. I’m looking forward to diving back into vinyl which I haven’t had since I was a kid(I am 48). This video makes me even more excited about physical music. I could watch this over and over. I hope to be one of those people to sign your poster some day. Would love to see this in person! A couple questions if you don’t mind…where do you live? Did you make those record racks yourself or did you buy them. It’s great that you can flip through them and makes it much more enjoyable. Thanks. Take care man🤘🏻
Thanks my friend! Glad you enjoyed this one as well. I live just outside the St. Louis area. So cool that you decided to step into vinyl! How about yourself? Where are located? What type of genres/bands are you into?
I’m really excited about vinyl. I just know it’s going to cost me 😂. I live in Buffalo, NY. Was hoping you were closer but I won’t rule out a visit some day in the future if you’ll have me at that time. In the mean time, I’ll keep enjoying all of your videos. Thanks man 🤘🏻
Bro, I am as jealous as I've ever been seeing this new layout of your music room. It makes me sad at the thought of how my room is in such chaos and disrepair since we had to tear the basement apart when part of the basement flooded a couple years ago. I just havent been able to find the time to get it put back together, but this is hopefully the inspiration I need to get my butt in gear and make it happen.
Wow what an amazing room tour Brandon! It's like walking into a shop, what an awesome collection too! Such a brilliant way to enjoy your collection, a great space to go at the end of the day. Love that Vic rattlehead you made, and it's cool to see lots of guitars and things hanging up. Awesome video man 😊🤘🤘
Hi Brandon, I can only think you'd find me a relatively messy person 🤣 having years ago worked in a record shop it was not so well organised either I remember having disputes about filing orders more behind the counter than on the shelves weirdly. So glad to see the church have their own section too - new album due out real soon. Nice to think somewhere in there is whatever CDs of mine I sent you too, can't remember now seems ages ago. I'm currently working with a friend matching old 1960s cine film of Francoist Spain with sampling and learn Spanish with him playing guitar in background. The results will end up on RU-vid because what I'm using won't be (because I'll make it) untraceable. Thanks for showing us around. Rob Paneeks also just dropped his new room pretty much same time as you.
Peace man... don't think I ever mentioned, but your room tour from a few years ago (maybe 2014 or 2015) was the first I saw. The attention to detail always stood out. I agree re: equal treatment for cds and vinyl. Nagaokas and ortofons are my preferred cartridges as well. Stay solid.
Brandon I really enjoyed this tour one thing I love about your passion you love variety of genre your posters and collection is outstanding. Your display vinyl wall aka Ricky Bobby Wall Wow killer gems I love your themes feature . The rack that hold your records where did you get those it’s straight up like you’re at a record store those box sets in your office man I can go on forever love it Brandon thanks for sharing have a killer week . Man that Chuck Berry poster smokin’. Lovellandrew
Thanks LA. So glad you were able to check it out. Those boxes? Just made them lol. About the simplest thing in the world with four sides and a bottom lol.
That space is sick!!! Love it Love the Van Halen stuff!! One quick thing thought On your first/last theme Zeppelin 1 is first obviously but In through the out door is last and came out after Presence
Elite level room. I understand the Kallax shelving because of space concerns but Flipping through records is magical. Would like to see your Punk collection and the DIY things you made or one of a kind things you bought.
I've been looking for somewhere to get music posters and pictures to decorate my room. Do you have any recommendations as to where to order/buy ? Love your basement... so cool
Thanks my friend. I have picked mine up from all over the place. Ebay, Record Shows, those rag/tag type of incense/hippie stores, etc. A few of them are just photograph my friend took and we sent them to Wal-Mart photo department and had them blow them up lol. Really no one specific place just kind of as I find them.
Your music collection is amazing! I love how you organize everything. Can I ask you what you do for a living? I bet it has to do with music. Music is my life. The Beatles are my favorite. Jim Croce is my second favorite. I think you’re awesome.
No idea lol. It was just one of those generic options in the editor. A friend of mine did look it up one time, but I can't recall who it was. Sorry :( \m/
Thanks for watching my friend. No, never had any issue with ring wear at all. I have always stored my lps vertically in short stacks of 70 or so. Matter of the fact the only time I have experienced one incident of ring wear was with a double Doobie Brothers lp that was an extremely tight fit for the two lps. If an 2 lp is fitting to tight for my pleasure I will put the 2nd lp in center or in the back, but that is about it. To me it seems that there are millions of awesome NM Original lps out there that pretty much nobody used outer sleeves in the 60s,70s,80s, or 90s and stored records only in the cover. If they survived all those decades in great condition I guess I'm pretty confident my handling won't harm them lol. Take care my friend and keep it spinnin'!! \m/
@@mrhoffame I agree, I’m surprised how many older records are in such good condition lol. I do the same thing when it’s too tight either in the middle or back. I too prefer to see the back artwork as well. That’s the way it was meant to be! \m/
If I have that room I would not been going to work.. I be in there 24/7. 😂 Actually I was thinking this morning I should take today off from work and stay home spinning some records
Hey Bro. Separated albums or cd's from boxset, give also another good thing. Boxsets less destroyed, without open and closed all the time. And room amazing, as always , Cheers from Poland
Have you shown how you document your collection in A video ? Not using Discogs? What program do you use? Thx You have one of the coolest ways to show off your collection.
Absolutely insane music room and collection WOW !! Would love to do some collab work specific to David Bowie (those box set vinyl editions are crazy expensive now) if you would have any interest Brandon!!!
Hey there. Thanks so much. Truly appreciate it. Yeah, those Bowies box set are fantastic! Beyond the music itself the quality of the pressings are amazing. So glad I jumped on them when they all first came out because the first one is crazy expensive now lol. Yeah, let me know what you have in mind. Take care my friend!
Awesome room, probably your best yet, love the skulls, on that note, I know you don't drink, but there is a glass skull vodka bottle called Crystal Head, which was originally started with Dan Aykroyd, kind of a Sammy Hagar thing, anyway the bottle's pretty cool, I got one a few years back, but emptied it, lol.
This is downright amazing Brandon. No wonder you’re called Mr Hall of Fame. I know I’ve mentioned before but that Son House poster is killer. I’m going to order one. It sounds corny but I’m kind of honored to know that a couple records in this room are from me😁 Fantastic video brother!
Was that your classical CDs at 18:54? Do you have any classical albums on vinyl? I could be mistaken but didn't you have some classical box set too? I didn't see any in the video.
Yes, there were my classical cd at that point. The few albums I have were right beside the smooth Jazz at 19:11. I don't have a ton of classical on vinyl at all. Mainly my two favorites which are Orff and Yo Yo Ma.
@@mrhoffame Thanks Brandon! Classical music is whole other beast. There is so much to learn about this genre. It takes so much time and dedication and is very different collecting wise than say rock or jazz.
That is Bic Runga. It's the album Drive from 1997. If you remember the movie American Pie the song Sway was featured in that movie. It's on this album.
