Music similarity between Touhou and Evangelion 

The most interesting thing is that this BGM plays on ep12 when they are fighting a giant eye angel. I wonder who else is known for their eyes?

there is also the soundtrack named "Nerv" that has this leitmotiv (9th soundtrack I think)

I was watching Evangelion and that "Satori theme" started playing. Then I was just betting I could find a video comparing the two music.
