@@Taetro Thank you! I have just finished understanding this part here. It took me only a few days to get the "thirds" and "major"/"minor" thing right (I hope) ❤️ 🙂 Little fun fact: In German there is no note/key(?) B but an H instead. I found it eye opening, that it is actually A to G in English, which makes more sense, but I think there must be a reason that it's an H German 😅

Listen man, I've been trying to learn this stuff for a long time. It's shocking I haven't found a series that breaks these concepts down as clearly and simply as you do here. Everything else I've seen so far seems needlessly over-complicated or focuses on things that are irrelevant or too advanced, the building blocks you're giving here are just great. I've been a musician for 30 years and I have never heard anyone (or considered it myself) explain chord progressions with such ease. You've said many times that there is so much about music that people THINK they don't get simply because "formal" explanations over-complicate things and this is a million percent proof of that. Bravo.

@@geetamishra7478 Because that's how you determine major/minor chords. You don't necessarily have to skip a note for chord progressions, you could play F-G-C and it will still be a chord, that is an Fsus2. But most western music(pop music in particular) generally only stick to major and minor chords, so skipping any other note would make sense because that is how you play major/minor chord.

@@geetamishra7478 if I understand your question, you need to account for the additional half step needed because there is Only a half step between B and C, and again for E and F.
