I wrote this song myself. My dad passed away when I was in eighth grade. I don’t have many photos taken with my father. We don’t have many pictures together. Of course, at that time, not many families had family pictures, the ones taken by professionals. I wrote this song after looking at this family picture that my mom created. We took a picture while holding his picture up. So, this picture was created artificially. But I can feel how much she misses him. We didn’t get to take a fancy family picture. But today, I will sing a comforting song with a story that my father left for me. This song I will be singing today is a song I wrote after looking at my family picture. When I was happy, I didn’t look at my family pictures. When I got lonely and things got hard, I started looking at the family pictures. And today is a very meaningful day. It’s my parents’ wedding anniversary. So, this will be a very meaningful song for me. I will sing it now. Lyric in English: Busy as you were in your youth, Along came a child who will add meaning to your life. In the family photo you took that day, I see your fluttering smile that's now fading away. As an adult I got thrown into reality. But naïve son as I was, I got bruised up here and there and I struggled to stand on my own feet. One lonely day I happened to take out the family photo, And saw that I look like my dad. At a moment in time when my own youth is waning, I saw your days of youth. A smiling young lady in the family photo, Your days of blooming ceased to give way, To blossom your son as to lay down like fertilizer.
