I'm always amazed about how people are set on having an open view so they can talk to the cook from the living room. I hate being talked to when I cook. 😅😅 Can't concentrate. But I see most Americans are outgoing like this... 'Entertaining' is the key word in these shows. 😁
I agree with y'all. If I had a big house, I would opt for a close concept. I'm an introvert and I want my walls. I also don't like too much talking while cooking. Lol. I also won't be doing much entertaining & don't want the smell of food everywhere. On a positive note, I liked this couple. They knew their needs and wants and were willing to compromise. In other episodes, often one of them was too "Karen/ Ken" .
So your bedrooms are upstairs in your only bathroom is downstairs. You’ve got the vomiting flu and you got a run down the stairs to go have a throw up and diarrhea? And what about if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night? Half asleep, you have to walk down the stairs go to the bathroom walk back up by then you’re Wideawake nope!
@hayaglamazonluxe by definition punk is anti-establishment and most definitely against profit for giant corporations. But in the 2020s plenty of those bands shilled for Big Ph@rma $$$ so by comparison, handbags are less offensive for sure lol
the first house is cute, but only for somebody that is short. The kitchencountertops in the second house are terrible...9:00 what I do love so much, is ..in american bedrooms there is often a window on each side of the bed...I love that so much.
In the comments below, who said above ground pools was a NJ pool, must of grew up in the 60's when you did see them in every other back yard. Now in 2024 people laugh at above ground pools now-a-days- they are not very popular, not even in small back yards. In ground pools are very popular in NJ.
Smh priorities and logic 🤦🏾♀️. The third house had everything they needed but a bathroom and fourth bedroom. They could take care of their HOBBIES in the GARAGE. the third bedroom should obviously be an office not an unnecessary glam room. If renovating the basement is “just an added cost” at the top of the budget then surely adding on for another bathroom at the bottom of the budget wouldn’t be “a big deal.” The first house is literally built uncomfortable for them. The toilet sits in front of the vanity. He couldn’t fit and a lot of the spaces. The kitchen. Etc Smh.
I hate open concept. Just a little FYI: People during Covid whom resided in open concept homes separated quicker, due to the fact' they said of total lack of privacy/alone time (which is vital for daily renewal). The separation of rooms in a home gives a family unit private and yet always together time, it is not suppose to be like a mental ward/open concept!! I am sorry it is just my HO.
