Honestly I think he’s just saying that his verse is like dope which is a double entendre. “Every verse is a brick. Your son dope” and “the same shit y’all was smoking is my profession.”
Kendrick used 9 3 times and 10 6 times in the verse 36 oz is a “brick” in drug slang. Adding up all the 9’s and 10’s you get 87 which is the year he was born.

You're so right about Em having some of the best and worst albums. I was just talking about that in my reaction to his song "Fuel" with JID lol. I grew up listening to Em so I've heard songs from albums here and there. Trying to fill in the gaps and check out the albums and songs that I haven't heard in full.
