I could listen to Queen every day, multiples times...oh, wait, I already do!!! And seeing Freddie running down those stairs, singing and never losing his tone, amazing!!!! The whole band is just out of this world, the best ever!!!
Did you notice Brian’s guitar slung around his shoulder while he was playing piano? Ready for his solo. And Freddie running down the steps, his voice never wavered
Fantastic performance from Queen Freddie vocals are outstanding brian May playing the guitar 🎸 just brilliant another great fantastic classic song from the amazing Queen love there music 🎶 🎶 thanks John godbless much ♥️ from UK 🇬🇧 🎶🎸🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏👍
There's not much you can say after watching a performance like this. Words are hard to come by. I would recommend you watch the whole concert. I hesitate to say that it captures the band at their peak because I'm sure we all have different views but it does not get much better than this.
No Freddie WAS not Queen and Queen WAS not Freddie. They were Queen and that is that, they were a band as a whole, it wasn't Freddie Mercury & Queen, he wasn't the leader, he was just the lead singer of Queen, like he said numerous times, the were together a band, Queen
In fact "Save Me" was the first song which made me love Queen and the rest is history! Since then, I became obsessed with the band! John, also please react to "How can I go on" by Freddie Mercury!
This is such an emotional song it gets me every time. When it was first released, I nearly wore out the vinyl copy of it being a teenager at the time and it was one of the singles I bought. Still have it
Thanks, JG - this is an awesome song - as noted below - written by Brian - not everyone could see, but while Brian was on keys, he had his guitar in his lap - which allowed him to jump up and make that smooth transition -- this entire band was amazing... and I appreciate your appreciation!
Uwielbiam wracać do Twoich reakcji na muzykę Queen:) Cudownie jest widzieć w Twoich oczach ten błysk, kiedy Freddie,Brian,Roger, John czarują na scenie !
WOW!! Yep, all members of Queen play multiple instruments!! Amazing talent!! Thank you so much for your reaction. Really appreciate your expertise! And this song is one of my favorites!! Check out ONE YEAR OF LOVE by Queen, written by John for the Highlander movie soundtrack. Unbelievable vocals by Freddie!
I was so excited to see you react to this performance. It will quickly become a favorite. They are all so perfect! I'd love to see you react to You Take My Breath Away live at Hyde Park.
Thanks for posting this. It's fun to see your first view reaction. Their ability to capture love, loss and hope in such a dramatic, human (not to mention rockin'!) fashion is unrivaled, in my opinion. For me, with Queen, they always deliver moments where I'm wondering if I should sing and play, forever...or maybe just stop right now. Powerful.
This is such a beautiful and sad song. Thank you for reacting to it. Freddie is so good on this and Brian has the sweetest sound with his guitar. The whole band showed up with their "A" game for this one.
Yes - Don't Try So Hard is a gem you wonder why not better known. Freddie always maintained he is rooted to emotion through song - as with "Jealousy." A delicate and melodic song from 1978/Jazz that is a beauty to hear on an emotion that isn't.
I saw them on this tour, for the Game album, at Madison Square Garden, September 1980. As Freddie said it's off the Game, the last one in fact, a song that really didn't get a lot of airplay back then. An amazing show!
I love this song and you are one of the few people who mentioned Rogers wonderful drumming and backing vocals on this song. I love how he starts out softly on the drums then builds up as the song goes on. Amazing from all of them. Oh , Roger plays piano too.
Thanks for your really good reaction - you really don’t miss much! Such an amazing performance, by all of them! I am always amazed by how gifted they all are, and Freddie always puts in such passion in every performance!
Try Dragon Attack same concert and In The Lap of the Gods live at Wembley. Both incredible performances. Queen never misses. Freddie’s voice could make him calling his cats beautiful.❤
There is an audio clip where Brian doesn't come in on time..Freddie laughs and says" WELL THAT DIDNT START OUT SO F***ING WELL...the first line of the song..lol. I think thats why Freddie gets close to Brian with a grin. To make sure they start together
My gosh I have tried everything to find this...Others have heard it...maybe I'll find out later..sorry..Freddie wasn't mad..he laughed and said..Lets try that again...dont know if it was in studio or live...but my favorite blooper
Brian wrote this - it's his song. He gets a big part in it's presentation. Notice while he's playing piano, his guitar is strapped around behind his back. Quick transition for him on this one back to guitar.
„Rock Montreal“ ist für mich das beste Live Concert von Queen, entstanden exakt zehn Jahre vor Freddies Tod (24./25.11.81), nie war Freddies Stimme ausdrucksvoller. Dieser Titel und die Kraft im Ganzen ist unglaublich. Wenn man das Konzert schaut, merkt man schnell dass Freddie nach kurzer Zeit nur noch für sich und die Band spielt, nicht mehr für das Publikum…denn jenes ist einfach unterirdisch. John, bitte „Another one bites the dust“ aus diesem Konzert. Gruß von der Ostsee, Marco.
Really enjoyed your reactions to save me, and the live aid performance, which I attended, absolutely brilliant, your obviously blown away by them, and rightly so, I have been fortunate to have seen many live performances from different band of that era, but queen tops them all, could you check out the prophets song by them, I dont belief there is any live recordings, but its worth checking out
Honestly never been a Queens fan; however I am always impressed to hear your musician perspective. I enjoyed this. You are authentic in your reaction which I appreciate. 👍Sehr gut Johnny! 😉
@JONH GIBS...🥰🥰🥰 Parabéns pelo maravilhoso vídeo! Grande Cantor, Fred Mercury Grande SHOW Ameeei! Obrigada! querido John Gibs, você é um amor!!!!🥰🌺🥰🌺🥰🌺🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
For nearly 40 years, I've thought their Live Aid concert was their best. Not so sure any more. This one might be it. And I never knew Brian played piano. Thanks for letting us know. WOW!
The whole Montreal concert is well worth watching, I notice that you are a big elvis fan, have you checked out Queens version of jail House Rock from this concert, I think you will enjoy it
@@johngibsonmusic hi John, like I said I think they do a very good version, have you managed to check out the prophet song yet, there isn't a decent live version, because I believe it would be virtually impossible to do, but that track is longer than bohemian rhapsody, and I believe underestimated
Great react, you now they was/are the greatest on earth.....have love them since -77...lol I will recomend to you to react to Dragon attac at the same consert, Freddie blow your mind.....Wel he does whatever he sings, but some songs are a little exstra. Dragon attac is an exstra. Stay safe, and take care..
You simply have to watch the official video to the single of Save Me. Not only will it mean you'll appreciate how good that live performance really was (it's so close) but the video is definitely one of the most beautiful music videos made before the 80s. This is the official Queen channel link to the Save Me official video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Iw3izcZd9zU.html
I feel that I can sing very well. I think I can sing most songs better than the original artists. Sometimes I hear a song and say I cannot sing it that well but almost. In this case I can honestly say say that I am not capable of singing like Freddie Mercury. His talent was special, to bad he didn't have more common sense in life, he would be with us today.
You should do a reaction to the documentary of Queen One Vision and then the actual song One Vision I'm curious to see your point of view and thoughts since you're a singer-songwriter
one of the few performers who with Elvis total control of the stage dont know if Brian supposed to follow freddie or visa versa but when he was playing didnt sound quite in synch like his guitar work still GREAT SONG/ PERFORMANCE
