This series of songs are my favorite from Tyler. My Blood which isn't too different than the album version just really shows off his range live. And Cut my Lip really shines. And yeah, I am amazed at how crisp his voice is.
That's absolutely live. And yeah , years of practice and hard work. I really like Ty , and even his earlier songs, but sometimes in previous records like self-title album his vocals is really cringe ) but hard work pays off , and we can definitely see it in his songwriting skills , vocal , live performances ...
I love watching them perform 'Trees' live. Specifically at Fox Theatre. And as for the line about "I would get messed up; weigh 153"...he's referring to the fact that he's a slim guy and doesn't weigh much...and would probably get messed up stepping to a bigger dude. 😂
He is one hell of a singer, check out the old high school video (Tyler Joseph and Nick Thomas National Anthem senior night). He started to play with keyboard first, that's why he is so good with piano. Very talented, musically and in writing.
Pretty 100 sure he is that good. He only have to enhance his voice when some idiot tells it has do be done. I personally like when the voice breaks like just for a second and then go back to perfect. 🤗
Keep going with the deconstruction session!!! I love how we can see him at work close up...and Cut My Lip at the end is fantastic. It’s hard for me to pick just one song as my favorite that they do live! I think Car Radio is always a classic live song for them. Trees is their amazing finale live. Holding Onto You is a good one with Tyler performing in the crowd. Lane Boy has a ton of good live energy. And a lesser known song that’s amazing live...Fall Away featuring Dr Blum. He adds the trumpet to that performance and it blows me away. Got to see that again at my last concert. It was a goal for me.
You know what my dude……I gotta say, as easy as it would be to call you out for not understanding the meaning of such a simple and straightforward lyric like; “I would get messed up weigh 153” I really feel like I can’t properly do so without also at least acknowledging that…as confusing as it is to me, you are not alone in your befuddlement my dude!🤦♀️ Yep…believe it or not there have been quite a few other “reactors” whom have also asked the same question…🤷♀️😅which still confuses me so, sooo very much to be completely honest with you…am I crazy or what my dudes?🤨🤔😅 Anyways…just in case you still do not understand what he means by; “I would get messed up, weigh 153” let me enlighten you a bit; all he’s trying to say is…get ready for it…im about to absolutely blow your freaking mind here my dude… **He’s just saying that he weighs 153 pounds** So…presumably whom ever was”stepping up” to his girl is much bigger than Tyler’s meager “153” pounds…but he doesn’t care and he’s gonna stand up for her and take dude on and due to this Tyler is assuming that he’s gonna get the everloving shit beat out of him or as he implies/says”get beat to smithereens” Why any part of this songs super literal and imo completely straightforward lyrics are confusing to people is truly beyond me really?🤦♀️😅🤷♀️ But the only thing I can think of is that maybe…possibly…people are so used to T0P’s lyrics being super deep and complex that when they give such simple literal ones…people are just lost oss😂🤦♀️🤷♀️🤨🤔
