The user will need to approve any requests forwarded to Open AI. All others will be handled on the device, or processed privately at an Apple data center on one of Apple's servers. Apple should require any Teslas driven by employees park offsite and be shuttled in to Apple Park. 😁

I think people need to take a step back and realize the privacy nightmare that this rollout would cause. I hate Musk as much as anyone else, but there is a valid privacy concern here. If everyone in the world starts using LLM AI models on their phones, there’s a high likelihood they’ll do so through programs which require microphone and camera access from the user. This could create nearly infinite attack vectors for hackers to gain personal, corporate or compromising information from anyone on the planet. Corporations could tune into the microphones of their competitors’ design teams and have their own AI programs tweak their products just enough to beat them to a public release. This sounds cyberpunk dystopian and like I’m being alarmist, but people aren’t taking this seriously enough. The technology to do this exists today.
