Great timely advice guys! The point Steve makes about "you just can't do it all in a day" is a great sentiment to try and pair down and focus your approach on a given day. Also using a few variables (water temp, forage behavior, etc.) in combination, rather than a solo indicato, as to how & where to focus your efforts was a great reminder as well. Appreciate the segment!

Chad Leton Thank you for watching this. I'm glad you were able to find some value in it. Hopefully we can continue to produce videos that will help people look at situations different and put a few more fish in the net.

I'm from Virginia and went on a huge family gathering in Wisconsin. People from all over the country 70 + were in attendance for some fishing picnicking golf etc. On the way there from the airport my father in law stopped at a local watering hole for a chat with the locals. I intended to do some muskie fishing which I shared with the locals. They informed me about where, what and how. I had salt water rod and reels, both spinning and conventional. The locals had a good laugh telling me the 10th cast required

Sorry wrong key... Anyway, 1st day caught a 31lb musk, 2nd day a 37 and 44 poynders. That evening I went back to the local tavern and ran into a couple of the boys I'd previously met. They asked how the fishing. I showed them my 3 pics and told them it took a Virginia boy to show them how it's done. After a couple more beers and more ribbing from me, I invited Jeff and Tim they are welcome to come visit me in Virginia beach. We stayed in touch and the following year they joined me for a couple of tuna trips. What a blast. Made friends for life. By the way fished 2 more days and managed 2 more musks in the 20 lb range. I will be doing it again soon.

I have a question I am going up to Cass lake Minnesota tomorrow. This week the temperature is going to be 99 in northern Minnesota which is absolutely crazy what do you recommend I use for such warm weather?? Note: in Cass lake we can see walleye up to 15 feet down due to zebra muscles.

how frequently do you retie these heavier rubber baits? have recently lost 2 new bull dawgs with 80# power pro.

+Ezra Kohli Are you using a leader? I would say I only retie about 1 or 2 times a season depending on the condition of my leader. Maybe a little more often if I’m fishing rocks. I would check your guides on the rod for any cracks that could be nicking your line. You can use a Q tip to swipe around them if you don’t notice anything visually and see if something pulls off the Q tip

maybe I'm casting too hard. didn't think so, but these bull dawgs are expensive. my line was new.

Using proper knot? Palomar knot is best used for braided line if you didn't know.
