I'm so ready for this season, I found an inland lake that has been stocking the lake with the northern musky strain for the last 12 years and has produced 2 master Angler fish so I can't wait to get there and try it out! we'll hit st Clair a few times but since it's a far drive it's been cost prohibitive the last few years.
That's awesome man, yeah there's some good inlands lakes around town that are host to some monster fish, you don't always have to fish the great lakes and big water like Lake St. Clair, sadly though a lot more lakes have been privatized, the spot where I caught my 8 lb largemouth when I was a kid is no longer accessible. I've been spending the last year getting back into shape as well after having to go to physical therapy for an elbow injury but yeah focusing on our diets and health are really key especially with the state of the country and the world being healthy and in shape can be very valuable for when a shtf scenario happens!
