I lean more towards the dharmic religions and some teachings of Jesus are useful of course but i don’t have a religion. You have to be careful to also not be a religious atheist. Because they can be headstrong as well and not liking the updates in recent scientific discoveries they are stuck on the "human evolution from a monkey" theory thing and won’t get updated. I think my focus is to do justice in this world more important than religion, that’s why I became a vegan because we will never have peace without stopping the animal holocaust as we are all connected and everything affects everything.

It's not about critical thinking, cuz Islam involves identity and deep emotion. Once an ideology becomes a huge portion of how you perceive yourself... changing or discarding that core piece of one's identity.... by asking them to leave Islam, you are essentially asking them to discard a core piece of themselves. Which is the most vulnerable you can be as a human being. It requires immense humility and incredible will power and faith in one's natural and instinctual intuition. So I'm not saying it's not necessary or to a Muslims benefit to do so long term, but its likely one of the most difficult things they will ever do in their lives. To exchange gifts, to smile, to help others. To be a good and genuine Human being.
