Christian here The father son and Holy Spirit and three expressions of God. John 4:24 “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth”. Jesus is the “Son of God”, not in the sense of being created or born (see John 1:3) but in the sense of being a Son who shares all his Fathers attributes, and in the sense of having a father-son relationship with God the Father. Hopefully this somewhat clears confusion in trying to understand the holy trinity 🫡

I’m an Egyptian Muslim who doesn’t speak or read Koine Greek (or any other form of Greek), and even I know that “theotokos” is the Greek term for “mother of god” (an honorific term used by some Christian sects for the Virgin Mary ‘alayha as-salaam, obviously a term that we Muslims consider a totally blasphemous slander against God) and I know this just from exposure to comparative religion debates and lectures.
