Thanks, Tom, for the mod idea. These are kind of a hassle to move around. Just did my spider 22 like you did and it works great. Very easy to move around now.
Chris, I had these laying around in my garage. You can easily do this with wheel purchased at you local hardware store. If you have harbor Freight near you they have a wide selection of these type of wheels
Went to pick my kids up from school on Thursday and someone had their 22” Weber Premium on the curb for the trash. 2014 serial #. One touch system and cooking grate were rusted out but otherwise in good shape. Cleaned her up and added her to the stable. Need some mods for it!
Love the mod! I’m really considering getting this pellet attachment for one of my webers. That K code was a great find! The K code is on my list, it’s my first name initial and my Birth year. Thanks for sharing Tom!
Love the Mod! My dedicated Weber/Spider 22 really needs this! In retrospect, I wish I had skipped it and gone on to the Venom. But, I was bound and determined to own a pellet grill, ever since I saw my brother in law “bake” a brisket on a RecTeq. I was jealous, until I tasted it. It was good! Just lacked the necessary smokiness. What was there gave the impression it was smoked on trash wood. I thought I’d bypass that problem with charcoal blend pellets. It helped! But not nearly as well as I hoped! Based on price and versatility, I consider this the best option for a pellet grill. I might sell it and just switch to the Venom.
