My skin has gotten so much better since I started following your advice Dr Dray. No more pimples or blackheads. The Fine lines around my eyes are a bit softer and hyperpigmentation has faded a bit as well. Thank you! I’m going to try to track down that moisturizer at Ralph’s. Nothing like a quest.

So great to know I have a couple of great products on your review/list! My mom likes Cetaphil cleanser so I recently bought her the smoothing moisturizer as she's been complaining about raw dry patches on her face. She has psoriasis though not on her face & I've gotten her special lotions for that condition too as she knows I'm all about skincare. I recently bought the La Roche Possay Lipikar for myself. A winter skin guide would be amazing! How often should we shower/bathe, water temperature, how often do we moisturize, etc… pretty much everything we need to know to avoid getting dry, ashy skin in the winter. (My legs/ankles & arms are always soooo dry in the winter)

tbh just shower with only lukewarm water and don't shower everyday only every other day. Keep your shower time minimal and just moisturize with a refreshing lotion. I really like Vaseline's lotion but to each their own.

@@ninaadams2584 “don’t shower everyday”. Showering is essential to refresh the body and to smell good. Substituting showering for deodorant is disgusting. Hair can be washed whenever it needs to be but showering everyday is essential.

I sugggest putting a few drops of oil in your bath it really helps moisturize your whole body while in the bath (I normally shower before I bath because I will not soak in my dirt lol) but when you get out you shouldn’t need to lotion your body.

@@Unknown-zn8cg Showering every day is definitely not necessary for everyone. Like I don't work out, it's not humid where I live, so I barely get sweaty or dirty. Plus I have really dry skin so if I shower every day it kills my skin. 2-3 times a week is all I need.

I am loving the new Aveeno, daily moisturizing facial cleanser! It's a fragrance free gel, with soothing oat. I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin, but because winter is around the corner, I prefer this Aveeno hydrating cleanser. I normally use a cleanser, with SA and tea tree oil in it. 🌿

I find there is pretty standard sizing for bottle necks. You can usually find a screw on cap from another product that will fit (except for some Aveeno bottles). You can then stand the bottle upside down in a laundry detergent cap and use up all the product. You can buy a gadget that does the same thing, but these are free and work great.

I use that Avene xeracalm balm for my eczema prone and dry skin, and that’s the only cream that healed my skin. I also use the thermal water spray and love those product.

The La Roche Posay one has been great, I noticed that when the humidity in winter was high that’s when my oily skin would get oilier but as it has dried up it gives me great dewey and plump skin.

I have been using Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Baume and Atoderm Huile de Douche since my chemotherapy days (2013). They worked wonders for my skin and decided to continue using them. I never have itchy skin. Thank you for your great videos!

I bought the LaRoche Posay Lipikar balm after hearing your endorsement and it has become my holy grail! The minute we turn the heat on, my shins would get so dry and itchy that I would scratch them bloody. Lipikar has solved that. I’ve started using a bakuchiol hyaluronic acid product on my hands and then top with Lipikar to seal it in…perfection! Thank you.

And not to forget! These are drugstore, inexpensive, big bottle moisturizers. Not like overpriced La Mer rubbish and similar stuff... Three of them are French brands (Bioderma, LRP and Avene). Add Vichy and CeraVe to these three and you have a holy grail of French cosmetics.

The one of avene is my fav of all times i started using it in August and i repurchased 2 times before even finishing up the first bottle because now it's winter time and i have atopic skin and ezcema as well so to prevent my ezcema from coming back the Avene xeracalm is my skinsaver for all winter! Awesome product that i carry with me everywhere! P.s:I used the replenishing cream and balm and both are fantastic!

I have been stocking up on the Lacura Cracked Heel Cream 25% w/w Urea, sold in Aldi Australian stores. It's only AU$2.99 for 100ml. It does however contain fragrance (peppermint & lime oil). It's economical enough to apply offen, to get my feet ready for the Southern Hemisphere's summer. 👱‍♀️❤

Got the Bioderma Atoderm delivered yesterday.. It's a gem! I use the Cetaphil Rough & Bumpy Lotion daily all over the body. I’ve noticed that it has improved flares of ezcema. Cetaphil also sells a 10% urea product called Cracked Skin Repair Lotion. Both these products are essentially dupes of Galderma’a defunct Excipial line. P.S. You might like SVR Topialyse line. They are a French pharmacy brand. This particular line advertises the percentage of niacinamide in their body lotions.

you should try the pyunkang yul body ceramide cream!! it is so great, fragrance-free, and calming! it’s helped my eczema a lot, also very thick and has many of the extracts of their essence.

The la Roche posay lipikar balm saved my skin when my eczema was at it's worst. Have tried other moisturisers since but nothing compares. I always have a couple bottles on the go

Of course she does! The moisturizers she talks about in this video are even richer than the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. I use the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for most of the year, but during the cold winter months, it is sometimes not enough, so I will switch to one of the richer creams when I need the extra moisturization (skin gets dry and itchy). Everyone's skin needs are different, so use whatever product works best for you. It doesn't hurt to try something new!

I absolutely hated the lrp ap+ balm. It left my hands and body extremely greasy and has a smell of rubber or latex so I returned it. It moisturized okay but the downsides outweigh the benefits. Sticking with cerave cream

I literally own and use all of these except the last one. LRP Lipikar AP+ is the best but the Avene one is just fantastic

Thank you Dr Dray for uploading a video about decent body creams with good ingredients... iv been wanting to see one for a while now. Please would you do a detailed video on what actives and ingredients are best to fade scars that are discoloured on the body? I'm really struggling with this Doc and try as I might I cannot find any decent information anywhere, all I keep being told is to use Bio Oil... which is great for raised and pitted scars... but not for discolouration ☹☹☹. My 86 year old mother in law has very dry thin skin. She does not do a good job of moisturizing. I would love to see a video about how to take care of skin of elderly.

Zinc oxide cream is my fav forever for heat rash, chapped skin, and those misc owies. My mother used it on me as a child because it works. It is heavy greasy texture but that's what it's all about as a barrier and soothing cream and why it is THE ingredient in diaper rash ointment. And it's cheap.

Eucerin Rough and Bumpy Lotion has done an amazing job of transforming my older dryer body skin to look and feel smooth and hydrated. l highly recommend it.

Hey I just wanted to say Can't live without you Dr Dray. So much great info here. I've been following your advice and my skin is so much better these days. I've been suffering from depression for a while and I think concept of taking care of myself and taking care of my skin really helps me mentally and physically. I still have other things to work on and it has been such a challenges and I hope everyone who see this comment wish you very best to come. Thank you for all you do!!!
