When I was in high school Levi's 501 silver tabs was the go to 569 had nice washes too discontinued now of course champion cone head(superfleece) or crewneck and acg goadomes or butter timbs etc

You can easily thrift carhartt or find at flea markets or garage sales. Don't overpay at a vintage store. It's not like they are rare or anything.

I see a lot of people buying vintage levis and lee jeans. As for me I'm only buying Nudie Jeans and jean jacket. I have 15 pairs of levis from the 90's that I got as a gift I never worn them. I will be selling them now they look like I just got them from the store.

I too have big thighs. Being a small 32 waist I’ve learned from buying vtg denim to know your thigh sz, which usually happens to be a bigger waist sz like 35,36, 37etc.

U and your tailor smart. Lotta ppl will bring the jeans in for a tailor and the actual tailor will remove the selvedge to hem and get you right not knowing you prolly got the jeans bc they had the selvedge in the first place. Dope video dope dude.🥇🙏🏽

Kyron could you please recommend some options for taller guys?! I'm 6' 4" kind of lanky build and all the workwear pants I've tried to not work for my frame at all. They end up being beyond boxy, tons of exposed ankle (practically shin) and look like sails on my legs. Could you please drop some knowledge for us tall folk?! Thanks so much.

You can buy another pair of pants and cut of the hem then you seaw it over the hem of the pants you want to wear to get the perfect length.

Was more asking for options for bottoms that I could just buy that would fit my frame nicely. I don't know why I cant find any resources on YT I'd imagine every guy over 6' 2" or something has the same issue I do...

@@1517the_year Every pair I have found in my waste size 33",are way too short length wise. They hang way above the ankle. Also it is an extremely wide leg cut which would be fine if the pant fell lower down on the ankle/shoe but since it is shorter and practically 6 inches above the top of my foot all that extra pant just waves in the air like a sail. These types of videos are great to keep up with the times but until someone can refer me to pair that works for tall guys I would not recommend this look if you are 6'4" or taller. I know this is his specific style but I feel like he should mention these facts in his videos cause style tips are not universal and are very much based on your own unique body type.

Damn I feel bad for you. I thrift so many pairs. I have a pile of 15 to 20 pairs of carhartt pants and that's after selling a ton. I paid 5 dollars or less for each pair lol. I think it's the area I live at. One goodwill I go to always has carhartt pants and jackets.

Check out @viapiana_custom_denim on IG, he's Toronto based but he makes custom denim and does repairs/tailoring. He has a plethora of vintage machines and I'm pretty sure he can do darning repair like you want to patch up holes. And I think you can send your jeans to get them repaired.
