A very important thing to add that I didn’t talk about in the video. If you change your controller from a console to PC or even to a different console, you will NEED to change Radial to Axial Independent again. For some reason these settings do not save to the controller itself. So if you take the controller to LAN you’ll have to change it on every console/pc you sit at. Even at home if you switch from Xbox to PC, the FIRST TIME you plug it in you’ll need to change it. Once it’s changed though it’ll save to that device(but again, won’t save to the controller itself, just the device)

Hey Crazy great video i was just wondering do you think the elite 2 is good enough to use in pro scene or would you recommend something like a ps5 controller or something else. Just purchased the elite controller and do notice even with independant it don't seem as snappy as some controllers seem to be. I have deadzones in game on 4 atm and my in game sense for warzone 2 on 6-6. subscribed by the way too.

@@silverpro8356 Hey I appreciate the sub, glad you enjoyed the video! I honestly am not 100% on what controllers the pros are using but you are right that the elite doesn’t feel as snappy. It feels incredibly sloppy. I’ve heard great things about ps5 controllers because they have the fastest response time of all controllers on the market. I know a lot of pros do use the Scuf Instinct Pro because their orgs are partnered with scuf. Not sure about elites though. Main thing I’m not a fan of is how much the scuf controllers cost lol

Hey Miller, thanks for this Video, believe it or not it was a pain in the ass to figure out why my standard Xbox controller felt better at aiming then my elite series 2! Was driving me nuts Just had to change from Radial to Axis independent. I always thought Xbox controllers were automatically set to default “Radial”

Hey man, while this is a bit of a necro post, just wanted to say I appreciate this video a lot and the others you have done. I have been a chronic head-caser with aim settings in this game since season 3 launched and am so tired of it. Totally checking that out when I get home! I like the feature that you can use a shift key and change how fast you move with the sticks. So now I can shoot somebody running by then hold my shift key and go to a slower mode and put my Molotov where I want it.

@@CrazyMiller Bro I tried it and it DEFINITELY is a hell of a lot more ‘crisp’ with the look movements. After labbing in Octagon, the aim assist seems to pull just a tad bit more as well. I’m checking out your vids again on the dead zones. This game has changed so much since the last Halo I played (H3 back in 08) so I have quite a bit to figure out. Thanks again!

Cool man not much of a social media user despite working in the IT field over 20 years. Tested out some ranked gameplay checking my shot percentages after each with a 108 FOV which is pretty new for me. Before, LESS than 30% accuracy EACH game😤! Now, late 30s to mid 40 percentiles. Still gotta work on my aim but at least I have a solid foundation now.

Hey! Yeah so when you customize it on the controller settings. It is then applied to the controller for all games! 😁 So once you change it and save it then you are good 👍🏻

Its crazy how little info there is on these settings online. I changed it to axis independent, it does feel better. Seems like I miss further shots though more for some reason. I can tell it feels different but cant find any info as to why. some other videos are saying radial is better. But no on e really has a good explination of what this actually does and why one setting is better than the other. Even microsoft has a really vague explanation of the setting.

When did you switch over to using the Series 2? I saw your HCS raleigh video and it looked like you were using a scuff or something else. Curious to know if maintainability issues have been a factor for you when gaming long term on an Elite controller.

Hey! So I am currently using a scuf controller but I personally liked the elite better. What I would recommend is you absolutely NEED to purchase a protection plan with the elite series 2 controllers because of how fast they can break. The plan needs to be a full controller replacement plan because repairs take too long and my bumpers go out very easily

I was playing r6 and when I aim to the left or right my aim goes down ever so slightly which screws my crosshair placement up

Is it worth changing the primary setting? I know left urs on default, I was just wondering if they made any difference at all. The independent Axis definitely helped with my floaty aim feeling. I still don't have the snappy feeling I'm looking for tho, still over aiming my shot a bit.

I honestly stopped messing with the elite, I didn’t find anything that felt better than my scuf controller unfortunately. I was going to check out other controllers next as well. Also my bumper broke on my new elite in 2 months 😂🤣

Likely the same setting for madden. Your stick drift though is pretty normal for these controllers that’s why I don’t buy them anymore 😅

@@chrisroberts826 The setting you are talking about is “True Diagonals” and it’s really good with diagonal movements. Axis independent is used for x & y movements aka Up, down, right & left. It helps steady your movements on those axis so they are more fluid. Majority of the time that’s how you will be moving your sticks, up down right left. So it makes aiming way easier.

I can’t imagine others using this ELIET 2 and MSFS not having the same issue ? I still need to do the profile 1,2,&3 set up’s and that circle ⭕️ thing maybe this will help ! 5 accel. 2.5 horizontal, 5 vertical. Center deadzone 0. Threshold 0. Axial deadzone 4.5

@@Hitman_JM movement is 4.5 center, 0 threshold, 0 axial. Some people prefer threshold at 15 for movement but I personally like it lower

Thanks man I’ll try this out. Still trying to get used to my elite 2. My aim just seems off and I find it harder to make the micro adjustments needed in gun fights that I was able to make with a standard series x controller
