Slosher may have low damage output, but the damage it does have is consistent, as it has no damage falloff in Salmon Run, meaning if it hits, it will always deal 100 damage, no matter where from.
It can hit fishsticks from the ground too it usually hits 2 ones at a time and easily eradicates them if you're not able to climb the pole for some reason.(or if you're helping a teammate eradicate them faster I've seen people with bamboozler trying to take out a fishstick for like 15 seconds)
God I only ever get up there with any kind of sniper if the fishsticks is painting the ground I need to snipe from and the team isn't helping. It's such a pain to take them out with those kinds of weapons :/
As a slosher class main, seeing these strats makes me so happy! I was pretty bummed I wasn't having fun with this, but I was just using turf war strats like a dummy 😅
The slosher is extremely good with elevator, like for 7 second I can welly paint the side, ( learnt from hazmy ofc) it is very important as like a steel eel or a lot of aggro salmonid will need to change their route to you when you do shore run
Very interesting. I'm not really a fan of the slosher in SR and I rarely play it outside of SR too. I've just been doing the basic slosh above them. I'm already aware that Slosher has this flick property but didn't know it was this useful for SR.

Wow, i didn't know about the flicking strat. That's super cool ! Sadly i don't have the strength to check it out in this current rotation anymore. I have never been this thoroughly destroyed by a rotation alright. Deranked from Eggsecutive VP to Profresional +1. Couldn't even win once.... This map is not fun when you have stingers in the back with splatlids in between alright. Nice tips though 👍
It’s so weird too bc the tri slosher in the regular game does 62, slosher does 70, and machine does 76 so how did Nintendo think that would equate to in salmon run tri slosh doing 100 and slosher doing the same amount of damage then having sloshing machine be 160. Sloshers damage needs to be like 150 or something

There's not that many tricks and tips for it since Chargers are as straightforward as they come, perfect for single targets and not for Swarms Remember that the Bamboozler does not have the Damage per Projectile or the range of the Standard Charger but charges the fastest and consumes ink the lowest in comparison which favors a Hunter Playstyle (being one of the 3 Chargers that allows this kind of Playstyle, the other being the Squiffer and the Goo Tuber) The best tips I can give you with it are: - Keep yourself on the move at all times. This is very important since you lack the Range to function with as a Backline so perching will help you nothing - Avoid Swarms as much as you can - Focus on surprising and attacking Boss Salmonids like the Steel Eel and the Scrapper from behind them as much as you can.
One tip is that, unlike most chargers, tap shots go just as far as the full charges. You still want full charges for higher DPS, more damage per tank, and better paint, BUT since charge shots on fish stick smallfry and stinger pots are just wasted overkill damage (and you have no piercing either), you can tap shot them to death from very far away, making it one of the safest and quickest weapons for clearing those 2 bosses.
In addition to what others said, Bamboozler does better with some minimal amount of charge. There exceptions for things like smallfry, but almost everything else benefits from at least little charge. A half-second charge will just erase a Chum, for example. Another small tip is that the half-second charge will also produce useful paint, whereas tap firing paint will not (unlike splat charge, e-liter, etc).
00:35 Of course you have to consider that the reason the Explosher has a very low Damage per Second in general is because of its very slow firerate. But when it hits, it hits HARD (having the highest Damage per Proyectile of any Main Weapon in the game only below the E-litter 4K (in a right placed Headshot). The Slosher has one of the Lowest DPS in Salmon Run because of the weapon itself having the lowest damage output of all the weapons of it's class not just in Salmon Run but in general
Not sure what you are trying to point out - low damage per second is low damage per second no matter how you look at it and it crumbles under high stress waves in Salmon Run. The explosher hits harder but overall it is still a weaker support weapon with a powerful niche. High DPS is important to be able to keep up with the faster and faster spawn rates of salmonids.
@@HDHaZmY Damage per Second takes in consideration 3 key factors: Damage per Projectile (in which the Explosher (being the Miniature Inkzooka that it is) excels the most), Fire Rate and Damage Drop-off (which is the reduction of damage it deals the further the Proyectile goes) The Explosher was never designed for dealing with Swarms of Lesser Samonids but to deal with Boss Salmonids (Specially Flyfishes and Muddmouths) as it takes 1 shot in their weakspot to kill with it so it's users should act more like Hunters (swiming around to locate and kill Boss Salmonids and avoiding Swarms as you can)
