Masterpiece, nothing short of it. One of those hidden bangers. I picked this up at the airport, it was sold half price, once i opened it i fell off my chair almost. What a hidden gem, and nobody talks about it.
This scent is one of my favorites! I had worn it to work years ago. A female colleague was completely in love with the scent. Without exaggerating, her face looked like she was having an orgasm :) she immediately asked what scent it was for her husband. I had never received such an impressive compliment from a fragrance before. Truly a masterpiece with a great price!
Supposed to be night time version of OG, but its way more than that. I would say OG is the summer freshie but Intense is the cool weather version. To me in a weird way, yuzu smells like lemon with a touch of mold, sounds bad but it actually works, I like the different scent that this citrus delivers.
As someone who loves the classic l'eau d'issey, incense note and dark vibes scents, I made a blind purchase after watching this video. It’s on shipping now, I will write a review in a few days.✌🏻
@@mjeeed106 It was one of the best blind buys I've ever made. You can clearly smell the original issey DNA. It has become fresh+masculine with the notes of Incense, Papyrus and amber.
@@mjeeed106 I love profumo too. I just have to say that Profumo is one of the best fragrances of all time in my opinion. I think you will like Issey Miyake Intense but not as much as Profumo
I love Led Zeppelin and I just bought this because I used to own the original but I needed something with more of an Edge since my personality also has more of an edge than it used to.
I get the most compliments off this one and i had 20 colognes at one point lol. To me its okay. A dark night time fragrance, but to everyone around me a straight up banger. Definitely a older gentlemans fragance this would be a little too much for someone in they're early 20's. A coworker of mine once told me i smelled like chocolate and that was during the dry down period. On my skin a10/10 long lasting as well dont go to crazy it is strong.
I mostly agree, just that the florals seem to really stand out on my skin. Definitely would classify this as a fresher scent though as opposed to heavy/resinous
@@realscentreview yeah definitely not a resinous frag, but to me the smoke really balances the fresh nicely to make it all year round. It brings the summer wear down to mysterious classy, & lifts winter wear with the sharpness. 10/10 for me, my Swiss army pocket knife fragrance. Not the best for all occasions, but the one that will be wearable through them all in a fix.
To me it's a bit mature fragrance- not everybodys cup of tea. Found this gem in a random airport while sniffing at the shops, I had smelled nothing like it before. Always rocking it in slightly chilly weather.
Great review of a great fragrance. One thing i don't agree is your point on versatility. I think it's easy to pull off even in casual settings. btw. I personally wear it with a hoodie, tshirt and jeans as well as with white shirt and tie. Very versatile perfume in my opinion.
Well, I personally agree with you, just that I have had a good amount of people tell me in the past that the smoky florals smell a bit "indolic" to them. I personally think this is low on the list of challenging fragrances, but subjectivity keeps things interesting.
Shoppers had the 75 ml bottles for $20 a couple years ago. I wore it once and wasn't impressed. I haven't worn it since. I'll give it another try. I do enjoy the original and Sport.
Fellow Canadian, I'm assuming. Yep, I remember being able to sample the newest designer cologne releases before going into the next aisle to buy milk 😂 I definitely wouldn't have enjoyed this 5 years ago for example, but tastes can change in relatively short periods of time.
Thanks for the recommendation, I just ordered it and can't wait to receive it. I've had my eye on it for a while and you gave me that nudge I needed. I have L'Eau Bleue d'Issey which I really like and Noir Ambre, which is fantastic. Since Miyake passed, do you know if they will continue to produce fragrances under his name?
Glad you took inspiration from the review! Bleue D'Issey is fantastic... one of my favourite fresh fragrances ever. There will be a review. Since the rights of Issey Miyake fragrances belong to Shiseido, they ultimately have a final say on the creative direction. However, I would think that given the veneration of the Issey Miyake name in general, changing it would likely cause quite a stir in the community and probably a lack of respect for Shiseido. I would think this would negatively affect potential future sales. Also, they've just released Issey Miyake Pour Homme Vetiver - 9 months after his passing. Though who knows if that was in development before he died. *** I would think they will continue to release fragrances under the Issey Miyake name, but time will tell.
@@realscentreview I think you're right, as long as the name makes money, they'll keep it going. The Pour Homme Vetiver sounds interesting, I'll have to look out for it!
What if a 20yo wears this? Would it seem unusual or mismatched? Review said 30+yrs but not sure if thats an estimate of who will enjoy it or whether who it suits to wear
Nice video, man. Currently wearing Issey Miyake Sport. Someone here in coments said Issey Miyake Intense reminds a bit of the Sport version. Would it be redundant to own both?
Hey. I got recently a 125 ml bottle of this one. Everyone says good projection & longevity. Maybe it's me, but on my skin it is very soft. I can't hardly smell it. Is there a known issue with maturation regarding this fragrance ?
@@realscentreview yes, i got that, but it makes more sense to me that the newer perfume resembles to an older one. Not the other way around. But this is nitpicking from my side. I agree that they are quite similar. Sorry for the smartass comment, now that I read it i see that it is harsh, and that was not my goal. Nice review!
