4:44 - Reminds me of something that happened at work. I'm a mailman in Sweden and mailmen here drive ev's. So I'm going 45km/h and inside the car the motor's kinda loud. But apparently not outside. So this kid on a bicycle was riding on the sidewalk when suddenly he turns right out in the street. I hit the brakes and thought he would notice me. He did not. Instead he's now riding in the middle of the street and has no idea I'm behind him. A quick honk and he almost fell off the bike. I couldn't believe how unwary he was! He didn't even look over his shoulder! And I also can't believe that lady ignored the rumbling V8 of a truck approaching her!! People are dumb!

We like your videos. We are in South Australia no active c19 here now but locked down still. Your country is so green and wet. We would go on holiday to see so much water. rain and snow. Where we live 500 mm rain per year 40 C + for weeks in summer show us more of your country it is very nice thank you.

Neat to see that 740/760 Volvo even if they were doing something improper. Even where I live in California I don't see much of the rear-wheel-drive Volvo's anymore. In the two years I've had my 1970 142S I've not seen another one at all.

LOL That boat had a mind of its own. I don't understand what is so hard about using a roundabout. There is one near us and I (like your toll both avoiders) will drive 2 miles out of my way to avoid it. Not because I don't understand, but because the one or two times I used it NO ONE yielded as they were supposed to do. One ended in a Semi and a car colliding. Not fun. Thanks for sharing. My friend, your truck could be the size of the Empire State Building, alternately flashing bright neon orange and neon pink, and still there would be people who don't see you. The under chassis videos are neat, and just a little terrifying. The boat adventure was funny...let's do that again.

First of all can I say that I hope you will be back to full health and fitness soon so that you can be back driving your truck with Pikachu by your side. But in the meantime thank you for putting up these videos of your old clips, some I remember others not. I can well understand your love of the V8 Scania I was given one to drive for just a day and all day I had the window down to listen to it, just amazing. I hope your work mate is looking after Pikachu well while you are off. Over here I also have had to be without my faithful friend Rex for 3 months while I have been off driving Scania's. Now we are back together in the old MAN but it does mean that he gets to make a few more videos to make folks smile as we travel about delivering. As this is a long comment and nobody else is going to be bothered to read down here apart from yourself and you want to have a happy few moments seeing my passenger Rex, he has a series of videos on youtube the latest of which is called Rex Reactions #13. even if you brake late you still managed to not rear end the car and shows that even if you didn't react on time but drove at a the speed that was correct and that helped a lot. I see a lot of dash cam footage with accidents from polish dash cam channels where accidents occur because of speeding.

8:38.. There's a maneuver like this from a dashcam in England where a car finds a small gap between two trucks on the highway, and then cross over to the exit lane where another truck is standing still.. The car has nowhere to go and smashes right into the back of the truck. Those maneuvers are down right dangerous and should never be performed. People need to learn to take the next exit and go back, rather than doing sudden movements while at speed.

I have watched many of your videos. I know trucks needs a lot of space. And sometimes I still forget... And place my stupid car in a way that is not great for trucks. But I try to make up for it by not getting into a lane too close in front of a truck, and I also let trucks out to the freeway before me and then pass them afterwards.

Those donuts at the start reminded me of an incident that happened during conscript training at P18. A trio of girl conscripts in two other companies had smuggled some booze past the gate checkpoint and had a private party in one of their bunk rooms when they apparently got the infinitely "clever" idea to take one of the scania trucks belonging to the logistics company parked out on the drill yard for a joyride... They didn't manage many donuts before they got interrupted by a far less amused duty officer of the base guard company... Iirc, the stunt earned them all warning marks on their drivers licences and garnished pay. Fortunately, I think they managed to not break any army property or anything else but their own wallets and reputation. As for roundabouts and T intersections, I suggest watching Tom Scotts video on Britains most dangerous intersection. I'm always super cautious myself when I get closer to any intersection, roundabout, on or off ramp and try to always move my head to get different viewing angles around the blind zones of the side and corner beams of my own car.

Nice video, maybe some lessons from our cart specialist Max Verstappen, and you might get a seat in an F1 car "maybe ...." 😉

Great video, and I fully understand you. People can be so stupid, need to passsss and then they brake NO DONT DO THAT when they are infront of you....????? WHY.... People dont understand that we need the space to make a turn, its not only the truck its also the trailer that needs to go around the bend (corner) and we have such a long braking distance... So please dont cut infront of us and brake, because you will never win or be happy when we hit you....trust me.

4 seconds of your life - Magnus Uggla Fyra Sekunder. Seems like people gets pretty annoyed when they can't overtake truck though. I was on the ramp at Åbromotet going E6N and there's a 2-lane going into 1-lane and there was a truck already close to when it becomes 1-lane and i did put myself in the left lane covering the ending 2nd lane and then I got angry flashes and honking from behind. Not sure what the trucker thought about it though.

I love the way on a narrowing road people slow down so they stop at the narrowest point because that's the most stupid. Like they will lose their stupid club membership if they don't.

Hmm, that's odd. Does the RC boat not have a kill switch that activates if it loses contact with the transmitter? I have a large scale RC Car (1:5) and as standard it will put on full brakes if it loses contact with the transmitter. Even so, as it's a gasoline car I also got a proper kill switch. That will also kill the engine if the on board battery that powers the servos die. Else you can get unlucky and never see the car again. Oh and love your videos! Also hope you get well soon!

What I don't understand is what the toll stations are for. Isn't the money enough from the road tax and the gasoline tax? How much more do they need...

I drive a lot, and see the same kind of blindness/stupidity as you show here at 5:00 min. I simply cant understand why they don't stop sooner so whatever is going on can resolve, the road gets clear, and one can drive on without being hindered. And they do it time after time. I got so much to complain about, and so many examples that i am not going to try to get it down here, but people, when you do something that does not work, learn from it and don't do it again!!! Both in cars, and in life.

10:05 Kan ha stannat för att släppa före Volvon eftersom den hade hunnit ut innan de gående hunnit över, tycker inte den gjorde något fel även fast det var en äcklig Saab. Du kunde haft längre avstånd och koll på vad som hände längre fram, inte så mycket kortare sträcka att bromsa på än om den stannat vid övergången. Blir lättare om man hjälps åt;)

It's always interesting to see the different trucking and traffic control methods used in various countries. Are you not driving because of a lack of loads or a medical condition? As to the drivers, common sense isn't as common as we would like.

Föredömlig höjd på växelflakskroken, väl över takhöjd på "transitbussar" till exempel, har varit livrädd flera gånger när jag har legat bakom en växelfalksbil där föraren helt iskallt har lämnat kroken i ansiktshöjd på bakomvarande inför ett eventuellt nödstopp.

Efter att ha sett top gear avsnittet när de kör lastbilar, dekorerar dom och gör massa tävlingar/utmaningar (om du inte sett det, se det :P) så försöker jag alltid va en bättre medtrafikant/pedestrian till lastbilar :P Men jag har alltid varit sjukt obekväm med att leka i rondeller och tighta kurvor med lastbilar. Nejtack, jag kör hellre igenom när du är klar med ditt :D
