Hellloooooooooooo Mick. Great part 2. Awesome components. Shame some showed some age. We have been there before. Nice call on adding soup to the noodles. Smart. I am glad you got to try one of these, even if all was not edible. One more off of the bucket list. You had some fun, and A new experience. Well done Brother. Peace from across the pond. Stay safe, John.
Hi John...Thanks for watching and commenting...I was wondering whether to keep this as a permanent display trophy? or risk it, and give it a try. Even though some items were past their best, I'm glad I did. I can now confirm the Australian CR1M is the best (and most packed) ration given to any army!....It's going to take something extra special to beat this one!....ATB...Mick
Hi .. Thanks for watching and commenting... I think a giveaway is around the corner?....😀....Just looking for suitable items that will clear customs in other countries!...ATB...Mick
Hi..Thanks for watching and commenting....Yes, I did mix them and it made a great combo. The soup was nice and thick and acted like a well flavoured gravy. ATB...Mick
Hi Decarlos....Thanks for watching and commenting.... Most of the main items survived so I was lucky. Overall, I have to admit the CR1M's are the best rations available (if you don't let them run too far past their best before dates)....ATB...Mick
Hi..Thanks for watching and commenting...I't was a shame some of the components suffered, but I only have my self to blame!. I was surprised how much more salty the Australian version of marmite was compared to the UK's but your right, If you don't like one...you wont like the other!🤮...ATB...Mick
Hi....Thanks for watching and commenting...To be fair it was my own fault. I had kept is so long it was either eat now, and risk it, or for it to become a permanent display piece? My curiosity got the better of me and I had to find out if it was worth the money. I can see they are the best, and most packed ration available to any army when in their prime....ATB...Mick
Hi.....Thanks for watching, commenting and the Info. We literally have 100's of brands of Tea here in the UK but Bell isn't one I've come across. Not sure how its received in Australia or New Zealand? but it seemed an average, middle of the road brand compared to UK availability. So certainly drinkable but not the finest?....ATB...Mick
Nah, not an accurate review. In order to have the authentic experience, you should be preparing these in the same tin canteen you've just had a shave in.
Hi..Thanks for watching and commenting...Yes, 100% agree. I remember it well....before the invention of wet wipes we had to wash, shave and eat from the mess tins...ATB..Mick
